don't really know what to say.what a day! The fever zone was awesome,getting behind the team from kick off.the lads delivered.smeltz didn't do anything..he got owned and in the end paid tribute to us true fans. Porter's nose should have a shirt of its own..thanks nix!

still floating on air, that's a huge reward to the fans
 
and a silencer for the Ricki/Timmo knockers
 
the 2nd half was surreal, a bit nervous at first (given our recent history)
 
then all hell broke loose
 
at 4-0 they were so narked and we were so pumped that i thought we'd see red card
 
then for the last 20 it was just party time - heaps of f**king laughs!!
 
 
this feels so good   almost wish it was a work day tomorrow to spread the
Phoenix luv!!

It was such a great game. 4 in 10 minutes was just outstanding. A totally dominant performance by a great phoenix teama gainst a morale losing Gold Coast team.
Hats off to Ifill for another gram game.


Unfortunately not everyone could appreciate it: :P

YEAH!!! 6-0!!!  I was there!!!

I invited a German student from Dresden doing his internship here to the game, he was amazed to see 6 goals scored.  I thought at 2-0 that that was going to be it, I wasn't prepared for the other 4 goals!!  After about 3-0 i wasn't worried about GC coming back, I was more worried that they might score 1 to ruin our clean sheet.

After the full-time whistle a CG player headed straight for the exit & the keeper was nowhere to be seen

I said to my workmates that I'll wear my new Nix strip to work on their next win, which I will proudly do on Tues
