Huawei sponsored us through the end of Ernie and Kalezic. Sad that that support is forgotten and caught up in the great game this way. I mean, there's not much new info out there, just all of a sudden it's a big deal. 

A bit scary the way we're herded from all directions.

I for one welcome our Chinese overlords with open arms. 

I say give credit to Huawei for loyalty to the relationship. Sure its mutually beneficial but that is the idea of sponsorship. Huawei are demonstrating that they're not just 'fair weather friends', and we have the longevity of the sponsorship support to show for it.  

They may not be overly fond of your employer.

Anyone know if the Churchill will host the Phoenix team like they did last year? The Phoenix website had them as sponsors last time I checked but no other information. Their website says they are closed on Sundays.  Their phone message says 'open every day'.  However, no human being is answering their phone. Confused?  I am.

I asked a mate who was going past there to see if they were making any Fever Pitch for Friday and he said they no longer make it, then I looked at the Phoenix sponsorship page and they had no mention of FF, then I looked at the FF social media and it's all about the Hurricanes with no mention of the Phoenix.

The sponsor is Wgtn hospitality group /Kapura who own FF. You maybe have noticed Nix trying to direct fans to their bars all day every day.

Ah okay, yeah I've noticed that - didn't realise they were one and the same. Shame they're not doing a Phoenix beer though.
