Is Aaron Clapham the Phoenix version of Jemery Lin for the NY Knicks in the NBA?

If Daniel goes and our mid-field getting older -  Who wants some Clapsanity!

(Disclaimer Note; This post might be lost on some here not up with the NBA).

I want us to sign Glen Moss. James Brown is off to the Jets, and Halloran is the only player on contract for next season. They are the only 3 worth looking at there I think.

Can't see him wanting to live in NZ again, after all he is living in the paradise that is the Gold Coast.

ask him on twitter if he'd seriously consider coming back?  He'll be diplomatic and say "never say never" but I reckon our energy would be better spent on finding a gem here.  There's got to be one.  Basalaj would be good, did he succeed at his trial.  Hang on was it at Rangers????

The place is actually full of Kiwis. Latest stats say that 38% of people living on the Gold Coast are from NZ.
That's about 240000 people.

I'd belive that given the NZ general publics apathy towards turning up to watch football...

At the moment, only 3 teams need first choice keepers for next year. GCU who are a mess, and only offer 1 year contracts, Heart and us. If he wants to stay in the A-League, I am sure we would be a better destination than Heart.

We have plenty of depth at DM, main areas we need to look at is fullbacks & strikers.

Always liked salley, he has the best engine in the a league in my opinion, the guy never stops running and adds real steel. Looks like he is going to china

What about Traore? Better option for a foreign spot (unless he already has Oz citizenship) than Warner

Agreed we do, I'd rate him higher than most of our players in that roll, and it would mean Manny could stay at RB...+ Salley isnt an import any more?

The former, dont get me wrong, Lia does well, but if betters on offer then so be it. Smith always seems hungry and hard working

I think he is a very useful player and has an eye for goal.

Thoughts?

I agree that he has an eye for goal.

It's where his other eye is looking that's the problem. Usually about 20 rows back.

agreed

I think we really need to push getting both Glen Moss and Jeremy Brockie in

Totally agree, I am more concerned about us getting a decent keeper next season as number 1 or to push Paston. Not so about getting good wide midfielders or wingers as they are easier to come by.

Only concern is does Moss want to come back as No. 2? i think Paston might still be RH's no.1 by default...so Moss might not want to come if elsewhere can offer more starting opportunity...

Love to see him here though

Doubt Moss would come back as #2, would love to see him back. Having an Aussie passport also opens up Asia for him.

Moss was no. 1 previously, and for the AWs before his suspension so I don't think Paston would be first choice keeper. Plus Moss is better than Paston. Personally I would worry about having 2 injury prone keepers at the club though. Bring in Basalaj instead!
