We have some good destructive midfielders
Our squad cover is stronger then many a year
If Sanchez and to a degree Smith can step up this season and give us a little creativity in the middle of the park then I think we can have a shot at the title this year

Yeah time ONE made a change there. Yeah the Rugby test is the lead, but Savill has no editorial judgement at all - fan club rugby guy -and talking to old AB fogies again is so boring - and how much grog they're gonna down tonight etc etc. Well done THREE again - at least McKay doesn't let his rugby genes get in the way.

perhpas this is what a real preseason is supposed to feel
like, we have been deprioved for far too long. WE've got some
quality signings, sure a few injury concerns but the club seems
positive about these. Passess are due within the next week so
fingers crossed this season is the one we've all been dreaming
of.

Now, which two youngsters will we sign? I would like Fenton and Rowe. Boyd will behind a lot of players and is really young ASBP will be good for him and next year he can replace Pav.

JD - you know I love you and you also know this is a thinly disguised attempt at a wind-up on my part but let me just pre-empt your natural inclination towards the dark-side by saying it's all cool bro. Just relax and have a little faith. Any signing is a gamble but on paper at least this seems like a good one. It is the natural state of any football fan three weeks out from the start of the season to be highly optimistic and dream that better days are ahead, so let's just enjoy the moment.
And with that I'm off to buy a packet of Belgian biscuits and settle down in front of Youtube for the evening watching 6 year-old videos of Stein scoring goals on FIFA.

Normo's coming home
Surely Boyd's goal will be to get himself above Pav in the pecking order, which is fairly realistic if he's decent. If he can do that he should get a fair few appearances off the bench, plus more game time during international windows and if there are injuries. Good signing imo.
I wasnt sure he was the right choice - but now that he is signed, I am pumped for him and imagine Ricki will have a similar sort of Lindsay approach.
Congrats Tyler! 3 Years and he will still only be 20! Thats fantastic for all involved.
