i know hes not really wat we need, but y not look at simon elliot for a few games next year, pair with mckain or brownie would be f**kn solid.
costa and draper need way more game time to be considerd cover for sir smeltz.

ive seen nowt yet to prove that draper and costas are up to A league standard..dont get any games for staters and im not sure that pinning your hopes on two young lads would be good for their confidence either and im sure that muscat and moores would eat em up for breakfast withour the backup of an expereinced pro

Yeah, because Muscat and Moore always 'eat up' the likes of Jamieson, Zullo, Rukavytsya and Kantarovski. If you are good enough you are old enough. I don't think Costa or Draper are good enough yet and Ricki would be the best judge of that.

Excellent question, where's our youth team for next year? I can almost hear Ryan Nelsen's criticism from here...

As soon as Ryan pays.
The FFA who fund all the other sides won't, NZ Football are pretty much broke, and Terry is already putting up millions to keep the team we have running despite working in property which is hardly a growth industry in the current times.

would like to see Draper get a run at a higher level soon, we know Costa is pretty good by aleague standards and is worth holding on to, but we still haven't seen Draper get an opportunity
I must have missed all the A-League games he's played. Which one in particular made him pretty good by A-League standards?
I honestly cant recall seeing costa play all season and last season he made cameo apperances about twice :S

We'll have to look at basing a team in either Mooloolaba, Geelong or Charleville I reckon... there's not many options left

Is that up on the sunshine coast? nice spot, could do a lot bloody worse if its the one I'm thinking of. Up near Maroochydore?

How could that be anything other than positive competence feedback? We believe you are good enough for the A League is the message they would get.
Oh Wellington is wonderful. We got the wind, the rain and the phoenix. Oh Wellington is wonderful.

Thats the one...I need to start a business I can run from anywhere...and that would be my office base!
Tell you what, the nix could sign me, and then i'd be able to come and make you all feel better about Costa and Drapes!
That said anyone heard of this kid Hutton? He's 21, playing in Aussie at the moment, not cracked the A-League but got offered scholarships to the states...he'd be my wild card pick for the youth team...someone hurry up and win lotto please...

I read in an interview-i cant find the link- Tony P said something along the lines of
As soon as the January transfer window opens, we will be making some offers to strikers in the english league, because we believe almost all of the quality strikers in the A-League have been snagged already.
Something like that
EDIT: I found the link...

Also, based on what Torne has said does that mean Killen is a possible replacement? I know no one seems to rate him but it could be an option to get someone with some experience. This could be an environment that he could dominate in!!

I reckon Hutton would be a good RB to RM convert. Kids got pace and a good head.
What about some of the players from the pacific? There's got to be an experience couple of strikers in their late 20's out there...
Alan hutton from spurs?
ive got a song that wont take long, Adelaide are rubbish.. the second verse is same as the first.. ADELAIDE ARE RUBBISH
