His dad's a Kiwi, though.

Depends on if he was made from pulp grade logs exported to China or pulp material.
If from logs it's highly likely he is NZ-made. From pulp possibly South American.

Plymouth Argyle look like relegation candidates from the Championship. I hear they've got a good target man who might be interested in playing under Ricki Herbert.

Who also is contracted beyond this season, who has lived in England almost all his life, has a wife and her family over there, plus is making a decent living.
I wouldn't be moving over here if I was him.
Also better for the All Whites if he's playing over there.
Maybe post world cup glory

Fallon wouldn't be in our price range, salaries are much higher there.
I reckon we will scoop Barron up in the off season

With James now a free agent and trialling at MK Dons (thanks YF front page) does anyone else agree the Nix should try a move for him? I like him.
We could swap MK Dons Ferrante and Mulligan for him

See if he gets picked up and establishes himself as a player again first.
He has barely played for 12 months, been released by Tampere, turned down a spot in the Olympic side and burnt some bridges with NZF. I'd want him to prove he wants to be a footballer again before we use valuable salary and squad space.

Was bought for 300 000 pounds. That's about $800 000 ish isn't it?
Could be a marquee. But personally I'd like to see him do well in the championship (and never again grow his hair long).

Fallon would not want to come to the phoenix he'll want to keep playing at high level in england.

This is kinda off topic,b ut still about transfers.
In the A-League can players actually be transferred? i.e we play someone for a player
Or do we have to wait until palyer are out of contract
In Football Manager 2010 you can omnly do the latter, until the '10/'11 season where they allow transfers

Is that for all players?
Or just those at other A-league Clubs?

Overseas clubs can buy players out of A-League contracts - like Adam Griffiths.
A-League clubs can also buy overseas players out of contracts - like Surat Sukha.
Just A-League to A-League clubs that can't.

We're signing Lee Bowyer as marquee for next year.

Owusu is horrible. The fact that Adelaide are playing midfielders as strikers instead of him says something

Paston would make Owusu better so it would be a gain guys,
ive got a song that wont take long, Adelaide are rubbish.. the second verse is same as the first.. ADELAIDE ARE RUBBISH
Permalink
How I see it is that Paston is now out,
Moss isnt getting a start at Melbourne,
Why not come back to Wellington?

Reddy's been released though so they have no option, no?

Released at end of season. He had a contract for next year but they have decided to let him go.

Sign up Reddy and Van Dyk, then buy Marcus Tudgay(quality striker)from MIGHTY Sheffield Wednesday for next season.

Even though Owusu has been undoubtedly horrible this season I reckon that with the right team and a solid pre-season he could be a good A-League level striker. If McBreen can score a few, anyone can.

Many people know much about this Neil Harris that Fury are reportedly looking at? Worth us having a look?
Has a crazy scoring record for Millwall 115 goals in 280 matches.

Simon Colosimo to leave Sydney probably for China it said. I think Ricki should at least make a decent go to try and bring him here. That guy is all class and it would mean if McKain left we'd be sweet. Colosimo is lightyears ahead of McKain.

Would have thought it would be better for him to go to JEF in Japan rather than China? Surely the J-League is better than the Chinese league?
