Good game so far. I really hope the crowd is over 8k, fingers crossed. very entertaining so far, good work by lia chasing down those balls ive noticed and really getting in amongst it

Oh sh*t, it's Invisible Brown out there today. Not looking to give options in midfield, sitting on his heels, not going hard into tackles. Man, I hate it when that version of Brown turns up.

Slow start to the half, with the boys unable to string passes together. Got into it after awhile, but some of the decision-making is still too ponderous, and through balls going after defence have recovered. A little lucky to still be at 0-0 with Perth finishing strongly. wolfman2009-11-08 17:59:09

Ref has been mixed - two soft yellows for us, but some "strong" challenges going unpunished. A bit of niggle off the ball as well.

Unless Ricki makes some wise subs I think we are going to run out of gas. 3 or 4 times Perth have burst out of defence and outnumbered our defenders by 1 or 2 men. Surely they'll make one count eventually.
Must say, it's a very entertaining game though. We aren't playing well but we still look dangerous if we keep the ball on the ground and try to get in behind them, rather than that long ball crap.

Subconciously worried about getting injured perhaps? Also the 4 yellow cards might be playing on his mind too.
I'm not making excuses for him though - he has been average, I agree. But the whole team has been average.
