Hopefully its Real hot, Adelaide will struggle in the heat.

Yeah, cause it never gets hot in Adelaide

(just recently they had a week of over 40 degrees btw. they had video on the news and a guy was frying eggs on his front porch)

a commercial -short term benefit - will be f**k all use if we miss the playoffs  (or 4th place) because of this and our other Mickey-mouse home (= ring of dirt) match

Matey, awwwww, stop making excuses.
Even if the game was played in Timbuktu, its still 11 against 11 with a round ball on the same field.
Any team that is worth being champion needs to win away, Perth and Melbourne being two recent examples of that not happening. If they don't win against the Adelaide inbreds, where ever the games played,  we don't deserve even 6th. Stop ya whinging and get into the game ffs.

have a nice night

Very dry heat when it's super hot in Adelaide. And they can sustain it too, there's been a few times recently when they've had +40 degree days for at least a week.

Looking forward to the game, pity its not in Wellington but not much we can do about it (damn hairy arsed  Aussie rockers  ) and Christchurch do deserve a game.

Going to be stinking hot today so 4 hours on the bike then watch the game in the evening whilst cooling off the sunburn with a beer (bliss),you just can't beat Wellington on a good day.

Mate of mine went to buy his and my tix today and was offered lower bowl tickets.  After all our mates have had to buy upstairs as the lower was sold out it's a bit odd!  We went upstairs in the end.

I let my guitar speak for me

Good luck today Phoenix. I dreamt last night that the match ended 8-6 to Adelaide!!!

My mum once said to me if you tell people about your sleep dreams they won't come true, fingers crossed

Hope everyone who travelled from Welly or elsewhere has a blast

Its 11am and the weather is stunning down here, it will be reaching 24 plus today with very little wind. Unfortunately predictions are for a southerly to sweep in bringing cold showers. Lets hope the weather holds out till after the game or at least half time as to get the maximum crowd turnout.

Showers predicted for evening now rather than afternoon, hopefully will hold out long enough to get more people in the gate. I'm off into town hoping to run into some Ferverites!

Plenty of Nix and YF shirts in Chch City, other than St John's Ambo shirts that lots of young people are wearing seems to be the most noticeable team rep going on today.
Catching up with family in New Brighton today but looking forward to a cider at the Macs 5pm-ish or so.
Who are Ya!!

Improving,,on the up, a work in progress from Italiano and the Nix. Bring on the bathroom bling in '24! COYN!
