According to News he isn't convinced but you don't waltz into holland, get a contract with PSV and play for them without having some quality. Thats BS. You can't rely on other players to make you look good. Otherwise Mulligan would be world class when playing around Bertos or Ifill. Ya get off the smack

Culina has been playing DM or right back for a long time and isn't really used to being the main creator  I don't think. I think it's pathetic how he rants and raves at his teamates, though, especially when he isn't even in good form himself.

Definately the best player technically in the league but that doesn't mean he is the most influential.

I don't think it's a case of lowering his level because of those around him btw - I think it's more a case of the other players not reading his passes etc a lot of the time.

That could well change, still 2 weeks from the match.
 
Already getting a bit sick of draws but at least we're playing decent. But this one is one we have to win (Captain Obvious to the rescue).

Way too far out from the match to even begin speculating about anything. Except that I speculate that people will be speculating on this thread for a while until the match looms closer!

Of course he's a good player, but in Holland he played in front of the back 4, intercepted and tackled hard and then looked for his other more creative players sideways or backwards.  he wasn't the main man there which he has to be at Gold Coast.  It is a different role to what he played for PSV and for the socceroos where he tends to do the same
 
He proved he can do it against the Fury but he's yet to do it every week.  Personally I think he's a great player but he hasn't yet achieved consistenly in that position

Start Costa, Marco is better than Daniel, Hearfield at left back 'cos Blockhead's sh*t and SACK RICKI! Greenacre, Ifill, Diego and Caceres as the 4 strikers so we make more chances.

I reckon we will see good games from Greenacre and Ifill after a bit of time to freshen up.. Sigmund is going to be full of confidence after his performance for the all whites as well, hopefully the all whites spread this confidence around the camp and we get a HUGE WIN!!!!!
