Siggie needs some game time - it'll be good.

I'm pissed off big time about this prospect of some of our players flying across the world a couple of days before the biggest club game New Zealand has ever had. It's an international window I'm assuming, so we can't stop our players from going unfortunately. Stiiiiiink.

Id rather the AWs played together as a squad as much as possible before the biggest tournament NZF has ever had.

I think Rory Fallon would agree with you.

So McKain is out for this game, is everyone else fit at this point?  Timmeh's head knock will be fine in two weeks, but someone else will have to wear the lucky bandage.  And not Dadi.  For his bandage is not lucky.

Glad there are a couple of weeks to recover and train for this one.  Some people might be stuffed for the Mexican game though!

Er ..point of order Addicks.
IIRC, head bandage wearing in the Phoenix has been very lucky. I believe the problem for Dadi's bandage was (if you recall) there was an opposing head bandage on the opposition's side, thus nullifying "The Bandage Effect" for the Phoenix in that particular game.

Improving,,on the up, a work in progress from Italiano and the Nix. Bring on the bathroom bling in '24! COYN!

Will people learn from their mistakes?
Ie dont just turn up at kickoff expecting to buy a ticket and walk straight through.

Got my tickets!! Woohoo.

Have to say though, ticketek staff should wear a mask and carry a gun so that I know when I'm being robbed.

Got my 8 tickets same as for the Glory game but got told sorry that's 2 memberships (4 per) so we can't do it all in one transaction we'll have to do it as 2 (even though they did it all as 1 last time). Bit of a hassle but no prob and off I went happy as then suddenly realised, 2 transactions = 2 booking fees.

Bunch of thieving c*nts.

Rang up for my ticket htis morning and my normal row has gone (31) as has 29 & 28. According to the ticketek drone they are selling rather quickly and people are block booking.

They didn't have usual staff on at railway station - didn't open til around 10.00 coz of staffing issues related to titahi bay fires.

Guess they didn't have time to train (see what i did there...) up the replacement staff from new world

showed my pass but she didn't note the number - just looked at seat number and asked if i wanted same seats...

lets go easy on this branch today - just get in quick if you want your usual seats...

I got my tickets this morning from the club shop - Row G of Aisle 22 already sold out :(

Take note though: No season pass in hand means no tickets.

Smithy was encountering ticketing angst trying to get the tickets for fever exec block, he had the list of pass numbers - but didn't have them physically - and his request for quite a significant number opf tickets was being politely refused without showing the season tickets.

I left him on  the phone to the Phoenix management

When Hibs, went up, to win the Scottish Cup - I wisnae there - furfuxake!

The rumor I have heard is that the Nix themselves are block booking seats (could be the FFA though), which if true is annoying to those fans who have season tickets in those areas.

All sorted.  I had to use Greenie's favourite pick up line: "Don't you know who I am?"

Tickets selling like hotcakes.  22L in the Zone is almost all gone.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

My friend moved to Wellington a few days ago and decided he'd walk up to the stadium for his ticket and he missed the opening 20 minutes.  I laughed at him, but he'll be at the next game too.  Converted fan.

No ticketek angst for me: I popped in to the Empty Upper Hutt outlet and he got my tickets exactly where they should be

(SiNZ: the lucky charm is being brought too, just in case!)

I must retire to review footage and adjudicate.  Bit of a kryptonite, is't it?

Shame the AW Nix players have to go over to play Mexico so close to this game, technically if their (AW) coach doesn't want them to play their (club) coach doesn't have to release them...but as someone going to S.A I'd be mighty pissed if they decided to put club over country, especially after Fallon incident.

Just out of interest, what do we think the bench will be like? Obviously Daniel and Caceres/Bertos. Most likely Dadi but then you probably want a more defensive option as the last sub. This is usually Siggys spot but of course he will be starting.

Potentially David Mulligan? Ferrante? Could well end up being Diego or Costa or Marco with Muscat being defensive backup.

Mully no.
Ferrante no.
Marco is injuried.
More likely to be Diego.

Bring siggy in.
Start manny in midfield
Put Diego on the bench.

That way if we have to make a defensive sub, manny can pull back and diego can fit somewhere in the middle. preferably away from the wings.

Van Dijk as Marco's injury cover.
