Kenny Cunningham, Carlos Hernandez and Paul Ifill won't be involved in tomorrow's Phoenix friendly against Auckland City due to injury.

Bugger!

Jesus if the injuries go like this during the season we'll practically be playing a youth team, like Gold Coast before their abolishment.

Not really - I'll be in a plane. I'm very keen to support ACFC financially by paying my $15 entry fee. Not at all keen to see Phoenix season ticket holders there for free.

Besides, it's a pre-season friendly. I'd much prefer to watch the real matches when the season starts.

If ACFC win, I'm sensing the Phoenix excuses already... A little like the TV1 commentators on the last race of the AC.

Highlights the different level of passion engendered by genuine professional football doesn't it. There are Fever fans from Wellington driving to Auckland right now to watch, and I'm seriously considering throwing away $500 to fly up and back for it. We go all over Australasia to watch the Nix.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Flights booked already to Wellington to see ACFC Vs TW.

I knew of someone who went to every single home and away Hearts game except Hibs at Easter Rd as he couldn't bear giving Hibs any money.

You committed travelling fan you. A trip to Wellington, gosh.
I'm surprised ACFC don't dish out a few freebies to supporters. They used to fly Adam Brown around for ostensibly not much.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

I do remember a bunch of City fans chanting "There's only one team in Auckland" at Davey F last season, the day after Waitakere had secured the premiership. Hilarious.
