Hmmm had Shaun Timmins not played the ball out for that blatant bit of diving early in the second half we might not have conceeded and instead scored.
Only one shot on goal in this half has really threatened either end's goal.

Adelaide bossed our midfield there but neither side looked close to scoring from open play. Had Andrew not jumped in I'm sure that the attack from Elrick would not have resulted in a goal.
Hopefully with a fully fit squad and a full pre-season together we might achieve something next season.

What pissed me off about that, is that instead of throwing it back to us, they kick the ball back over the half way line. I'm surprised that didn't piss more people off. Surely they should be playing it back to us in a similar position to where we kicked the ball out.

EG is right. We are not going to be successful until be have a squad with better players than we already have. Ernie has proved that he can coach a team to play good football but unless we get players that can create rather than just smash opposition players we will never hope to top this league. The fans deserve better.

Yep, Riera has been a big loss, so his return would make some difference, but the concern is that a lot of our older players are being re-signed while at the same time either underperforming, or at the very least showing signs that their ability to compete at the A-league level is diminishing. This, coupled with the fact that the overall standard of the league is slowly lifting, makes me quite a bit nervous about the next season.

We might have a top 6(maybe even top 4) first XI but not a top 6 squad.

Kinda annoying to spend money to see a bunch of grown men lie on the ground for the majority of the game. I despise professional football sometimes. This was one of those days.
