i vividly recall a front three of Krishna, WeeMac and Burns causing all sorts of trouble at Eden Park against Adelaide (i think) - later that season teams worked that out a bit and we needed a plan B but i think it's a pretty good plan A.
I remember why it was so dangerous was because Krishna and Burns didn't operate in the outside channels but in the inside ones and WeeMac would drop off into the midfield three, his movement would cause the opposition defence to become staggered.
When teams dropped deep and kicked us a lot it stopped being effective - then maybe a more direct/physical centre forward would be useful.
Not sure where Finkler fits in - possibly he could play the false 9 role? might be a stretch as he isn't that mobile.
