According to Phoenix website there are 3094 members. How hard can it be to get what really is a small number of tickets right and to people on time.

Yep and this is not a great advert to encourage people to become one.Disappointing at the lack of response on here, especially with some of the  horror stories that have started to appear.

Not a word from Phoenix.  No apology, no "we'll look into it".  Just silence. That's either sheer arrogance or plain rude.

Apparently you have to take it in to the shop to get like your proper membership pack?

For those who have received their Membership cards your gift packs are available from the store to be picked up as of now. All you need to do is bring in your voucher which is what your card was attached to.
is this for out of town people as well bit hard to get to store to pick up from wanganui not sure what time we are getting to wellington on sunday hopefully early but sometimes we do not get their till just before kickoff.

Tickets this year have been an utter disgrace:

Ordered 12 renewals & 3 new members before the deadline....
Took about 10 calls to Ticketek for them to eventually 'process' my order and bill me (about 2 weeks after the renewal date)...
When they finally confirmed they were renewing the tickets they started talking about tickets in rows W & X - our season passes are in rows D & E...
All the tickets are due to arrive at my gaff - Today a whole 2 tickets have arrived.....

Not sure if I dare check if they're right...

I wonder just how much control over their Website the Phoenix have as all A-league sites are same format wonder if they are all run out of OZ, might have to contact HQ to put anything up which could take a bit of time ?????  or am i being to generous.

Well, Tony P has been reasonably communicative in this thread.
I don't have my pass yet though either.

Mine arrived last night (Tuesday), however my flatmates didn't and we ordered them together. Also it looked as though mine had been sent out to lower hutt first for some reason.

Thought mine was in the mail when I looked through the slit of my mailbox as I arrived home, opened the box all excited and it was just some flier about saving starving kids~!! XD

I know they left it too late (again) but be patient they should be arriving fine.

Nothing for me in the mail yesterday either.
Sorry to have to diss the club, but this is pretty rubbish. I mean I can understand wanting to print it in one batch, but if so why didn't they just do the one batch a week earlier? I'm sure the people ordering in the last couple of weeks would be alright getting a paper ticket for the first game, but for those who have ordered months ago this is pretty crappy. Wasn't the target 5000 season ticket holders... surely the best way to get more members is by having existing members spreading the word, and surely they won't if they get crappy service?

I ordered 4 tickets - 2 arrived yesterday - when I phoned about the other 2 Tickets they couldnt find them(the names or seats), but assured me that they would turn up by Firday - All 4 of my tickets are for new members(myself included) - not really impressed - found it easier buying tickets at the gate

I think waiting until the last minute to print and distribute the tickets so you get as many late orders in to the print run as possible is Ok if you are dealing with a reliable supplier with a proven track record.

Ticketek do not qualify as either.

I suggest next year there are 2 print runs - a run after the initial wave of re-orders and new purchases and a run a week or so before the first game.

This may cost a bit more but I actually think it will help season ticket sales as there will be 2,000 to 2,500 season tickets out there a month or so before the season starts creating a bit of a buzz and encouraging others to sign-up.

It will also give those of us whose orders have been messed up a bit more time to sort them out.
He dribbles a lot and the opposition dont like it - you can see it all over their faces. (Ron Atkinson)

Still no tickets in today's post.

Now we know for a fact that all (any?) tickets weren't sent out on the weekend (I am in central Wellington).

Beyond belief.

Received all 4 tickets this morning - came in separate envelopes although I did one order. Opening each was like opening exam result envelopes - but all ok. One big sigh of relief!!!

Rang David (missed his last name) at Wgton Phoenix (04 894 3370) he advised that the tickets had been posted, and I should receive them within the next few days.  I asked him what happens if I don't get them before the last available post delivery, he replied that I should ring Ticketek 04 384 2457 and they will provide designated paper tickets at the stadium to be picked up from 10am on match day.     I expressed my dissatisfaction with the process and he advised that the problem emanated from trying to incorporate the supporters pack with the season ticket delivery, and as there had been a delay in receiving some material from China this had delayed sending out the season tickets. My response was that they shouldn't have let this happen, and to separate the two issues would make sense, I mean if I didn't get my "pack" on time I wouldn't be that worried.
My suggestion is that every seaon ticket purchaser should take the time to send a letter/email or communication to the Phoenix to spell out in no uncertain terms that this late delivery of season tickets is totally unacceptable.  Tickets first, bumph second, and separate if need be.

Still haven't got mine either, but taking Tonys' word for it that they're on their way.

He's always been straight up with us, so I'll be giving the club the benefit of the doubt and trust that they'll be in my hot little hands by the end of the week.

Whole thing still frustrating as, but the fact that we've actually got a local A-League team to wait for season passes for still gives me enough of a good buzz not to stress too hard out.

Yay, mine finally arrived.

Of course since I requested a covered seat in Aisle 21, I have been allocated an uncovered seat in Aisle 20. But it's Ticketek so I didn't expect anything less.

At least I have my pass I guess, unlike a lot of other people

In that case, next season drop the packs. They're not exactly essential or must have items are they?

I think the packs are a nice touch - just send them seperately (as is happening this season now anyway).

While everyone else gets their season passes, little Toffeeman waits
While people go and get their suppoerters packs from the club shop, little Toffeeman waits
With the excitement building about whats in those packs, little Toffeeman waits, and waits. Waiting for a generous postman to deliver his much anticipated season pass so he too can enjoy the knowledge that he will be attending Sundays season opener.
Can you help little Toffeeman is his persuit of his season pass.

I got tickets for my parents through ticketek website with the electronic tickets which you print. costs around 23 for the ticket plus a couple of bucks for ticketek which comes to around 25. Print them out and swip them through.
<!-- End Member Post -->
why can they not do this for the ones who have purchased after 31 July or who have not recieved their tickets on Friday!!

Ezyticket is great. I use that for other events. You buy online and then get to download a PDF to print. Shame we can't do that for season tickets.
Permalink Permalink

but surely seeing as it is their(ticktek) mistake they should know who isn't going to get their ticket in time (those purchased after 31 july)and be able to email them it!

just found this on the membership website

FAQ:

What are the cut-off dates for Membership Application?

Renewing Members forms to be received by Friday 20 June 2008
New Members forms must be received by Friday 18 July 2008 to ensure member cards are sent out prior to the first home game. Any forms received after this cut off date will still be processed, however may require paper tickets for the first game/s.

When will I receive my membership package?

Packages will be sent out to Renewing and New Members prior to 7 August 2008 (please note your forms need to be received by the relevant cut off dates).

All applications received after the cut-off dates will be contacted with details regarding the collection of your membership pack in time for your first home game.

I ordered 9 very early on and changed my address and seats.......so imagine my surprise when I get a txt from the people at my old flat saying that 7 of them have turned up there!! I go round to pick them up and am missing 2 of my student passes, and someone has circled the address on the front of the envelopes that for some reason state the suburb of Northland being in LOWER HUTT!!! WTF?! The message written on the front reads "correct your address via the website", which I check and see that its the same as last years when I've already changed it to my new one before I ordered! SO P*SSED OFF RIGHT NOW!

All six season tickets that I ordered arrived today and all seats requested are correct - yay!  BUT Ticketek still couldn't get it right.  All six cards are printed with my name and account number, yet when I check on the online system we are all loaded in separately with our own account numbers.  What was the point in providing Ticketek with names, emails, phone numbers, addresses for each member - when apparently they are all clones of me
