@ hepatitus: just out of interest, did you get charged any extra for the tickets? I got stung with an extra fee for mine, because I used a debit/credit card.

Cost me 61.58 ....

$8.25 credit card fee.  That works out at under 70c extra per (RoF) game.

Good spotting.  Just checked my credit card account and have had to pay an extra $8.96 or 75c per game.

A bit of a surprise but hey I'm still getting some trading cards (better have at least one with Ifill) and a fridge magnet.

Instead of cash discounts these days we get credit card cost add ons. Only fair as it cost nix to accept card payments. As t/t will deduct costs as well as commission on. All is fair in love and football. 

I wonder if there will be a "Gareth's chum" again this season.

I've had nothing out of my account yet and have also had a phone message telling me that my seat has actually been sold. Not a big deal but now I need to call them back when I purchased online to avoid the hassle of having to call up...

And are people saying there is ANOTHER fee on top of the Ticketek $8.25? Is that even legal?

Im ringing these clowns today, been a week and nothing left my account yet, not replying to emails. I thought id give them the benefit of the doubt over their internet service and give it a go, but it really is shite. Shouldve listened to everyone who said 'just calll them'.

Yeah have heard this the last couples of days as well! Should be telling everyone get in while it's cheap, rather than saying just current members!

One of my work colleagues is going to join up.  The scarf had him interested, the free bus had him convinced.

Just had a phone call this week from Ticketek advising that they'd undercharged me $20 for our season tickets and an additional charge would be processed. Fair enough, I'd already picked up I was undercharged although I figured it was credit card fee that got missed. At least it means something must be happening for them to notice....

Anyone getting a bit excited yet?

Not sure but i noticed that i had actually been charged after all, $42 or something. I called them and they said their system had registered me as paying in installments, instead of the whole $170 or whatever it is. So they charged me the difference and all done. Now i guess the waiting games on for my stuff to arrive.

I had just had a look at the Ticketek site under the My membership section and the status on my order is closed yet no charges have been made against my credit card. Should i be concerned ?

Closed will be under the "View Orders" tab

Under "My membership" -> "Membership history" it should have you as Current status.

Might be worth a call...

I found making a call was very quick and very easy. All angst removed!

Anyone have any inside info on when we can be expecting these to turn up?

Knowing Ticketek, probably the week after the first game.

They told me they would do a bulk despatch and we would have them before the start of the season. I would have thought that after the early bird pricing ended would have been a good time to get all those season ticket packs out.

So far I think it consists of.. A radio ad starring vince lia, a poster in the train station and the usual banner at the stadium. Did I miss anything? Lets hope it picks up after the rugby this weekend.

To be fair, how many fence sitters are going to commit to a season ticket over a month out? If we don't see some advertising soon I'll be disappointed, but at this point I'm reserving judgement.

The Opti-mist in me.. (as opposed to the "Red-mist:home-loss-is-not-an-option-in-the-YF-zone" beastie!!).. says the Clemenger strategy will begin and ramp up with the announcement of a new, highly rated overseas striker.

The Real-mist in me..(not to be confused with the Realm-ist..who may-or-may-not imbibe occasionally at a local Hataitai watering hole (!) ).. says "bollocks!" to that.

Long off season, now little time till season kickoff, hopefully the marketing launch is imminent and not another...
