Worked on the second attempt!

So, add another to the total.

Think they might need to push the advertising / price etc though.  Lowered the prices again, new manager, new era etc...I know tickets are not open to the public yet but we really need more of a push than last year (season ticket PR was terrible IMO, non-existent).

They need to push that fact that a season ticket will mean entry to games is as low as $16.90 per person.  Language that the public understands!

With Thundersticks on board this season, I am completely confident that the advertising of season passes is going to be a shitload better than last season.

I think she has the right intentions and it will work. Remembering that the ST holders are being given first dibs so to speak and then there should be a marketing campaign for July 1. Fingers crossed that 4k target is met or better still, surpassed. $16.90 per game is a great deal. When you consider what you pay as a "walk-up" punter.

Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

not sure if i am going to renew $16.90 per game is good but only if you can go to all the games. the sunday 7.00pm games are probably not going to happen for me as i will not be able to talk any of my mates into going to a game at that time and then have to travel home and i will not be travelling to the home away games, happy to go to  wellington  to watch the phoenix but not that keen on travelling to away from wellington games.also  petrol costs have been killing me the last few seasons it is fine when you can get 3 or 4 mates to help with gas but when no one else wants to come to a game i have to fork out about $90.00 which eats into the weekly budget.

i guess i will think about it over the next week and a half and make up my mind on the last day of renewal

$90?  How far you coming from?

The season ticket only loses money if you miss about 4-5 games I'd say?  In the UK if you miss 1 game you've pretty much lost the value, so this is really a great price.

right so I tried to log on and use the details emailed to me last week to renew my membership - didn't work (fail), so called gave details and all sorted......add 1 more to the tally of season passes renewed.

now the big wait begins.

Holeinone travels from Wanganui and hardly misses a home game. I'm in the same boat travelling from Palmerston North. I've often come down by bus as my 6.0 V8 chews the gas but the Sunday 7pm games are probably going to be a no go as well. I'll still be renewing my season pass though.

Seems you can win a Spa pool if you renew your season pass. Those are pretty damn good odds tbh.

Time for a thread re-name?... I'm seeing few instances of clusters being fucked, particularly compared to years gone by.

Kudos.

Yeah delivery is always the worst part of the process. Seems to be smooth sailing at the moment though. And they've given themselves plenty of time this year, which will hopefully give them time to sort out the delivery process finally?

reordered my season pass on monday - yet to be charged the $177 - I've received the confirmation email etc just no money being taken yet.

I renewed too early! I still need to explain to him that the time I saw him at the White Swan and he overheard me say "Fucking Ifill!" I meant it in all reverence and not as the negative blurt it may have seemed.
