What about Jai Ingham - would be nice if they (MVC) released a player for a change and they came to us.

Has been a bit player there for the last two years - maybe not a starter here, but I think he would be a well used squaddie who could step into the starting 11 as needed.

Yes. WSW fans want rid of him but sounds like he is very much in the Wanderers plans for the new season.

Isn't he off to Zwolle once he turns 18? Plus its unlikely we will see any one from Ole in a Nix shirt anytime soon.

Never confirmed was it? - they said keen, but his foreign status was an issue as it meant he would have to paid a huge amount more.

And wasn’t the whole reason he left is that his partner didn’t want to be here?

after the AW games, the one player who really did earn a Nix contract was Gulley.  Singh was brilliant but I can’t help but think he’ll do a Rufer (Wynton) and will soon leave windy Wellington.  I can see him quickly outgrowing us just as Thomas has done in the Netherlands.

With his Indian heritage, I do wonder if AFC clubs will notice him & offer us some cash. Being able to qualify as a +1, it opens up a lot more options for his future development.

Are Wellington well off for wide attacking options?, if not I'd suggest signing Danny Choi from Blacktown City, has tons of ability, been held back in the past couple of years due to Citizenship issues and injury but has enormous potential.

The same Danny Choi who was an injury replacement for Adelaide United a few years ago? From what I saw, he was class.

I also know of a young SA NPL player who had a trial with the Mariners with the surname Di Troia.. He has scored some absolute beauties for Campbelltown City down here, and again looked a league above everyone else.

Add Joey Gibbs to that list with Choi.

The same Danny Choi, he was great at ADL, in the limited time he had there.

Would take a good look at Choi, would he take an import slot?

Looks like he's fast and he scored some absolute beauties in this compilation. This is 2016 form though, when you see some of his highlights in this video it's no wonder Adelaide took a punt on him for an injury replacement signing.

I'd love to see Roly back but have to agree that you'd have to build a team around him to get the best out of him. But if he did a 'job' for Rudan he'd be an interesting partner to somebody like Paracki in the middle of the park.

Hope Rudan knows all this and more. There HAVE to be overlooked talented players in the leagues below - think Rojas, Krishna, Singh - they're not just A league players, they're top A league talents who were playing in the wrong league.

Also Tratt. Tade too, though it's too late for him now.

Just saw that Choi video - wow.

Special player, great touch, passing, vision. Fast. Good football brain, good decisions.

Minuses - slight, Korean (so an import), and unclear if he has a right foot...also that was a highlights reel.

Still, wow.

He hit the woodwork with a great shot, 5 minutes after coming on in his first game as an injury replacement for Adelaide. I bet if the ball ended up in the back of the net he'd now be an a-league regular.

He has been in the process of getting Aussie citizenship for awhile. Surely must be close, once he gets that a few A-League teams will be talking to him

If he's so close to Aussie citizenship, would moving to NZ set that clock back to zero?

Roly has only really had one truly good season in the A-League; not sure I'd want him back at this point.

Watched the SoccerAid game and that Dan Carter bloke was decent. I'd like us to sign him just so the rugbyheads would be confused.

I would assume so. He would be foolish to abandon finishing the process after waiting so long. I wouldn't be surprised if the NSW clubs are keeping tabs on his progress, would be a great pick up as a mature aged rookie for a club.

Roly - doesn't want to defend

Singh - plays in that spot already, cheaper, will develop and not an import

If we have a attacking line of 3 with Krishna, Singh and Burns, you just need a striker.

We don't need Roly.

Bonevacia vs Singh - if two players of that quality are available, take them both. Singh can play wide (and aim to move infield, per Rudan's pet formation). Injury cover too for the playmaker position.

Bonevacia is a must if available - strong, skilful, determined,  good passing and vision.

Burns looked off form last season.

I would sign him up just to see the headline: "After signing a top player from a French club, Wellington Phoenix attract massive sponsorship deal from a skin care company"

Actually, getting outplayed quite a bit these days

About 2 weeks out from start of the season!

Could Roly perform more of a box-to-box role? He's got the engine, can both defend and score goals. Could finally be our replacement for Tim Brown if deployed correctly.
