How long until someone else at the Jets goes mental after hearing once too often 'that's not how Jason does it'?

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

Because Kosta could fairly say that he hadn't gotten a fair shake from Ricki. Marco can't say that.

Yes and no.

There was absolutely no indication that Ricki was intending to involve Marco until injuries forced his hand.

That's a tangent though.

Loyalty is important, for sure.  And I'm sure loyalty to the fans and the club weigh heavily with him.  But if the other considerations outweigh loyalty then I won't hold it against the kid.

I'm sure when he makes his decision he'll explain his reasoning one way or the other.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

So applied to the Marco situation... is there any member of Marco's family who might not have his best interests at heart? HMMM?!?!

Troy Hearfield has taken up a contract at Central Coast Mariners for two seasons while Danny Vukovic is heading to Perth Glory for three seasons. Nick Ward decided not to renew his contract as he prefers a move back to Australia and is wanted by Perth Glory and Melbourne Heart. Diego Walsh's contract was not renewed and he will pursue options in the United States. Toto Cornejo was not offered a new contract and was released back to South America. Daniel's contract was not renewed and he will explore options in the ASB Premiership as he looks to become eligible for the New Zealand national team. Jade North was granted an early release to explore options in Japan and Holland. Reece Crowther was not offered a new contract and is being targeted by League 2 and Conference sides in England as well as clubs in the United States. Marco Rojas rejected Wellington Phoenix's offer of youth marquee instead preferring to make a move overseas with clubs in Belgium, France and Holland all having shown interest, should an overseas move fall through, he is likely to join one of Brisbane Roar, Melbourne Victory and Sydney FC as he believes there are further opportunities to develop his career. Dylan MacAllister was not offered a new contract with club looking to explore other options in the attacking third, MacAllister has been attracting the interest of Melbourne Heart, Gold Coast United and Sydney FC.

From the Phoenix wiki page

How much truth is here in regards to Ward and Rojas??

I liked the way this person (obviously some irresponsible Twit) described Toto as being 'released back to South America', as if he was some sort of caged in animal in Wellington.

Hey so I thought I might speculate on some transfers or something like that in between photoshop flurries and doloras in general.
What do you guys think of Lovemore? I would like to sign him up, he could develop into a descent footballer he's fast enough, got some ball skills.
Would be a useful bench player in the future maybe coming on for Rojas (if he's there) or Ifil when they get tired and run at defenders, much like a (less talented) Rojas from earlier in this season.
Either way we should be signing promising NZ youth players left and right as squad fillers, could pay off in the future.
Yeah so there's some speculation cos I thought we were a running out.

Liked what I saw against the Bling - not stunning, but definitely in the James Musa level of talent and promise.

I didn't think he was that bad. He seemed decent! didn't have the same dribbling ability as Rojas, seem to hoof it and chase. But fast = good.Luis Garcia2011-02-26 17:25:35
