Our game will now happens after the Hurricanes match. I wonder how well the turf will recover from that and the storm.

What a shame, stuck in Wellington because of the weather😅 Our accommodation and flights have been rebooked so we can watch @PerthGloryFC on the Sunday now! #TuiOfDuty #OneGlory @aleaguemen pic.twitter.com/WgNRqmRUql

I genuinely think Sky Stadium might have the best grounds staff in the league. The miracles they perform on that pitch are something else. Don't see any aussie multi sport stadiums looking that good.

No turf expert, but I understand cooler climes also help you get the good balance of thin leaved rye grass species you want in a top quality turf.
And yeah from memory last season the ROF was rated 1st or 2nd with Coopers in Adealide (football only) as the best surface in the league.

Bus replacing trains on the Kapiti line on Sunday. All other lines are running.
Edit. May the 4th be with us
Edit. May the 4th be with us
We can farewell Sutton and Wootton before they go to the Dark Side.
Also, I guess Candy's "omission" answers the question about whether a red card in the CL carries over? Unless it was purely a club decision I suppose.

says "omitted" not suspended so I'd say its a club decision rather than a league ban

Poor guy looked pretty bummed out coming off the field after his red, maybe he knew that was his chance of featuring in the Perth game blown.
Sure, that’s how football works, but it reminds me of what someone posted in another thread about our young players needing that bit of extra support when they screw up.

So if we win tomorrow and finish 10th, does that mean we play Perth in Darwin for the Australia Cup playoffs?
10 v 13 and 11 v 12? Or is there an actual draw that takes place?
Yes, these were the pressing questions I dreamt of asking at the start of the season.

Beautiful day in Wellington today apparently, and looking good for the afternoon tomorrow.
Perfect FC finally lost again tonight against WU for the second time, 4-2.
Let's end this tough tough, and let's face it, miserable A-League season on a positive note, and build some confidence for Darwin!
Please?

I'd settle for Loke slotting in at RB for the injured Payne and cameos for LBS & GSR, that'd be plenty for me. I've seen enough of the kids in general this season. Would rather see Roa Conchie and Nagasawa in midfield than Sheridan & LBS too (Roa Conchie can be considered a kid too I guess)MetalLegNZ
Chiefy saying in the presser he will play the strongest team available to him...
Meh, play the kids. Seaso is over, give the youth a run.

Fun stat. 23/24 season AP conceded 26 goals in 27 games for us. 24/25 season he concedes 27 goals in 27 games for Akl.
Anyway, 🔥 🔥🔥🔥 up. 3 points please. Good performances from everyone. I'm sure Wootts and Sutts will want to impress Perth even more. We have the chance to do to CCM what they did to us on the final round of the regular season and leapfrog them. We can do this.HattyCW

Loke played a full 90 for the reserves yesterday, so that probably points to an involvement off the bench if anything today.
Maybe we see McCarron make the bench for the first time. That'd probably (hopefully) be it for him though. 😅
As others have pointed out, I would like to see Roa Conchie and GSR with some meaningful minutes. We've seen a fair bit of the other younger lads this season as well, so I have no doubt we'll see that pattern continue this afternoon.

So kinda funky in that if we win today, Darwin will just be replays of the games between the teams this round.

Put Sheridan in at RB and play Conchie in the middle. Play players in their position!
Will never catch on
Have managed to convince my wife that given I’d already paid I should go. So now heading along on the rail bus 😭

Yep, the true test of this game is if the Chief starts playing players in their natural and best suited position.
