One of the bays behind the goal has sold out.

Annoying you can't pick your precise seats online.

Will the Fever Zone be just choose where you want to stand like a normal game or will we be needing to adhere to our ticketed seats for this one?
I personally will not be in my assigned seat no

Any ideas if the game will be on Sky? Perhaps TVNZ will pick up broadcasting rights.

Not being able to choose your seat can see it being a shark show. With people buying there then wanting to sit. Not sure if there was a warning if its an active zone.

Buying my ticket was a bit of a blur but I don’t think they had the “expect noise and people standing” warning they had for the AWs game - and even for that one we got families with little kids in there.

Missus got her leave approved for that weekend today. Looks like we are gonna be able to make the trip up from Chch. Anyone got the hookups on one of those pre-sale codes?

Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

Season 4 of Welcome to Wrexham arrives on Disney plus tomorrow

Early days, but 6000+ tickets sold in 30 hours is a good marker for a decent crowd.

A lot of people travelling in from out of the region as well which is a good sign. At least 15-20 that I know of that are making the trip down.

Get in early on that accommodation is all I'll say!

FOMO will start to kick in too. As soon as 12k-15k tickets are sold, everyone in Wellington will want to be there.

I got my ticket today as well, just a question is it the responsibility of the ticketing company of why we couldn't select the individual seats? Or just who is responsible? I know it isn't a big thing but if I'm honest it did quite annoy me

Actually hate this as someone who normally only buys one ticket you normally get shoved in the worst places. Dont normally go to a few things because of the reason. Picky i know but i have been given some truly sharkty seats over the years.

I feel the same way! If I am fully honest I actually did hate it was done this way! Like you I'm only buying one ticket. It was annoying because okay sneakily if I went on every couple of hours they gave me new choices in the area I wanted but then by the end it kept giving me the same seat in a row I didn't want to be in so I had to pick the section next to it. Anyways just needed to let off some steam and glad someone else finds it annoying.

Well I am kinda annoyed (I can't direct reply to my own post above) so now it is general sale it looks like you can now select your seats? Is there a reason why we couldn't for a pre sale? (Given there seems to be seats in the section/and row I'd want to sit in)

Good to see the media are buying into making this event something cool.
https://www.stuff.co.nz/sport/360691397/it-isnt-real-madrid-phoenix-fans-criticise-cost-wrexham-tickets

Prices would be 2-3x what they are if Real Madrid or Liverpool were coming.

As Perth fans are about to find out when AC Milan tickets go on sale.

Also Brooke this doesn’t answer your (perfectly reasonable) question, but the article at least points at the likely culprit:

A spokesperson for the Phoenix told Stuff the club has no say in the ticket prices as it is not their event.

The event is being promoted by TEG Events, with the Phoenix saying “it is not our place to comment”.

Which also makes me wonder how much revenue the club gets out of it.

Supply and demand, right?

If tickets sell out at these prices, you would be able to argue that they were not expensive enough.

They must just get an appearance fee or something?

Like they're a booked band for a gig or something.

Either way if we get something cool like this and the club carries no financial risk, that's kinda awesome.

Or as Air NZ puts it, they’re doing us a favour because if seats were reasonably priced there’d be none left for last-minute purchasers (I wish I was making this up).

There did seem to be more in-your-face legalese with these tickets about “we reserve the right to fiddle with the prices and no we won’t refund you the difference if the person sitting next to you on the day gets their seat for less than what you paid.” Or maybe that’s always there and I’ve been too busy beating the “you’re about to lose your spot” timer to pay attention.

Much anger earlier. Friend's partner is not very mobile right now so my friend went to book his partner an "Easy Access" ticket and they wanted $149! Friend has declined their less than generous offer and it's safe to say he's angry. 🫣🫣

Holding back half the stadium. Will wait till they have sold more gold tickets before opening up the otherside with all categories.
The aisles on the opposite side at the moment would be to make accessible seats available

Wrexham active zone has been exhausted. I didn't see that coming.

Kind of stink that there are only three categories which you can get junior/concession tickets. Also noticed the stadium is offering member for a day as well.   If anyone has a PAX update, I'd sure like to hear it.

Happy with the Wrexham allocation being sold out, as I'm sitting behind them.

Surely must have sold well over 10k now. As pointed out, a lot of other bays have very limited seats left too.

Reading this forum it seems kiwis give more of a shark then Brits do about Ryan Reynolds/Disney FC.

The only people here in the UK who seem to care about Wrexham outside of the good citizens of that town, are yanks.

I like the show, funny enough, I’m not interested to see them play football.
