Looks like you guys need some steel in your defense, maybe Flem could sign a couple more Canterbury based defenders not wanted by the Dragons.
Would make a good match of the local clash coming up on the 12th.

Anyone who does know probably won't discuss it on here.
 
Mikey is a quality player in his own right, so not sure why there's a need for a comparison like that.

I know they are both quality. I just wonder why George wasn't selected or if he was just unavailable.

Horsey halstead didn't play much this winter did he? Even though I am not an Olympic (and I know he played for the Rapa) It's good to have him with the Tee Dubs

8-0 out west. Canty 1-0 over Waikato, so NYL Final a repeat of last season, and likely to be played as double-header with the ASB Premiership game between Canty and Ytak scheduled next Sunday.

Canterbury must be a bit scared.  They didn't look convincing against TeeDubs yoof here and Waitak have just killed them after resting 3 or 4 players who played for the first team yesterday.

Not a match report as such ; just a few thoughts.

5-0 was fair enough. Could have been 4-0 at half time but for 2 very good saves by the Otago keeper. At 2-0 , I though the flood gates were going to open but TW fell off the pace a bit .
Clean sheet due to a very very good reflex save from Imray in the second half from a deflection.
Lisette- OK , promising but jeez could  he work on his distribution.
DUncan/ Robson- both very good as usual this season.
Kosta's brother- nice touches , obviously got some skill but went missing a bit in the second half ( as did Patrick , fatigue both of them?)
Cherriton- did well i thought.
Sutherland- every time I  see him he impresses me. Leads the line well and gives Fifi the odd rocket.
Stu makes really good subs this year. 2 of them scored today and made a real impact. Tade must be a real bugger to coach.Lots of skill , good on the ball but s..t does he do some very casual things that don't come  off.
Funniest thing for me- listening to Otago's coach do his nut at Jamie Cross ( 4th official).
Still , TW were good value for the 5-0 and it could  have been more.SOme of the passing and movement was really good to watch.
Looking forward to reading the offical report.

Crikey Tee Dubs were amazing or Otago were very poor. Although Phil did make some good saves. Good to see an all Wellington midfield dominate too Tyler2010-12-20 08:40:01
