We was Good. Very Good.

Kamo outstanding, Clapham ran the second half.

Murray also very good in the midfield.

Tdub got bossed second half. Not enough quality out there. Centre back's distribution poor and Robson not flash. Clapham is a game winner and Gareth Rowe still bosses it.

Canty were quality

Thought Clapham mostly faffed about till he set up the third goal. Was to cheeky with his chip shot when through on goal.

Imray and Batty in the goals were both bloody class

Didn't look like the ref had much control. Saw two possible red card offences against Cty, and one against TW. Other dodgy challenges deserved a yellow but only got a free kick. All the ref seemed to do was blow his whistle repeatedly and wave his arms around while the players sorted things out themselves.

Thanks for the highlights package - very well done and easy to watch.   I see the Wellington City Council is still maintaining their irrigation and fertiliser programme at their parks - yeah right!
I am still amused by people who comment on the amount of cards issued, or lack of them.   Either way, no one is going to win that argument.   The thing that really irks me is the players - you expect it from the spectators - asking the ref to issue cards.

Couldn't agree more Graeme.  SHould be a card if you ask for another player to be booked.  Hate it.

Wicked hi-lites. Thanks to those who sorted. Wouldn't it be great if we had our own hi-lites package ideally on telly but could be done over the interweb. Imagine Monday nights: Premier League at 7, A-League at 8, Championship and others at 830, then NZFC at 9!

Exodus TW Youth v Youngheart Manawatu Youth. 1pm kick off at Te Whaea on Sunday. The youth lads are playing some good football and well worth a look.

Gilly,

1/ Who's in the youth lineup, cant find the squad listed anywhere?

2/ Are you planning any replacements for your your recent departures from the mens team?

Couldn't agree more.  Huge blight on the game.  Recent high-profile example was Fabregas for Arsenal against Manchester City...he even pushed off the attempted restraining of his own team-mates to remonstrate with the ref, wiggling his hand in the air with an imaginary card in it.

The ref was always going to issue a red anyway without the prompting of that jumped-up little prat.

Pretty sure referees used to book players for doing that..can't remember when it was or when it stopped.

Allegedly

How did Team Wellington youths go today?

5-1.

4-1 at the half.

Nice day at the ring of Whaea for football.  Only thing that could have improved it was less hangover.

Who got goals?

Actually, I can answer that. Ryan Cain and Andrew Coad two each and Dan Minshull got one.simon_hampton2010-11-14 18:13:52

Off to the UK with the missus for a week, so misses a couple of games, so dropped.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

3-1 win. I think Waikato will be disappointed to have lost that - probably dominated for 70% of the game. Good impact from the subs that came on for TW though.

Fuck this stupid game

Excellent stuff mate, hope you can keep it up.

Last goal was brilliant, stroke of brilliance.

We will never fully decide who has won the football.

Did look like he dived, but the guy who fouled, his hand looked as though it was high and may of got up to some mischief.

Not a pen - Ref made a mistake, and he admitted it. It happens.

TW paying $2.60 to beat Otago today @TAB. Some of you punters might want to jump on that. Otago heavily dented squad. No Tim Horner or Aaron Burgess. Coburn not 100% recovered.

You guys looked very classy and good today.  Otago had maybe one chance all game and that that even result in shot on target. Lucky deflection on the first goal but pure class on the last two. Long season ahead for us.
