I like how i coined that, and it's stuck.

Three for me, and two for them.

so we've missed 5 out of 10 penalties this season and hit the post 21 times. thats a potential 26 goals missed. has to be the story of our season

Q:How the f**k did we lose that??

A:1. Some of our lads couldn't score in a knocking shopp if it was freebie day .
2 . Individual mistakes by senior players who should f...ing  well know better- yes I'm looking at you Reina and Carra
    3. RVP is on fire ATM- great great player to watch , doesn't need many chance to score.Dunno what his conversion rate is but it must be high.

Bright spots? I thougt Spearing had a good game relatively.Kuyt was his usual energetic self but lacking a clinical finish.Downing was a mixture of really good and quite average.
Still dunno how we didn't get all 3 points .I think 4th is now out of reach

Oh , and just for you , The Arsenal , when you pop in later to gloat , just piss off!!! ( )

That move where Suarez beat their entire defence was a bright spot. f**king insane.

But yeah, we really just can't score. Been our problem all season. Did everything we possibly could to get a goal and then RvP taught us a lesson in how to be clinical.

We look a much better side with Spearing. I enjoy Hendo's play, but he really needs to be in the middle. Still, think we're on to something there. Charlie Adam is not my favourite.

In contrast to the good play of Spearing, is when we have to play Carra. Appalling defending on that first one- although maybe harsh considering he's up against the finest striker in the world atm and its his first game back. But we definitely missed Agger

I said, the moment I heard Lucas was out for the season, that we wouldn't get top 4. Looking like I'm right

Story of our season I reckon, play well, don't score, can't even blame Andy Carroll this time....Also just to add to the doom and gloom, look behind us on the table and there are 2 teams of 36 points and two on 35. Another loss and we are right back in the mix. I think we will finish higher than we currently sit but it is so frustrating huh?

Honestly, I'd rather we start playing better and learning to finish scoring opportunities than winning. With fourth looking increasingly unlikely, and Europa league already secured, I'm starting to care less and less about where we finish. Haven't given up completely on Champions league but I think it's time to start learning how to play better rather than focusing purely on results.

Except for the FA cup of course!

I would be great to see players like Flanagan,Robinson,Coady, Shelvey Suso and Sterling more involved in the 1st team between now and the end of the season.

They should now be taking the place on the bench of players that King Kenny wants rid of at the end of the season.

When a journalist asks Johnson about what happened what do you expect him to do?

No matter what he says, even if its him refusing to answer, a headline will be made out of his response.

Also I'm sure the club didn't send him out to talk about it.

Probably not answer like this, ideally:

Evra was clever at Old Trafford, said Johnson, extending his hand directly towards me. Because - Im not being funny - but if I wanted to shake your hand I would stick it right out in front of me like that. But if my hand is down here, almost by my side, then its because I really dont want to shake your hand.

Luis didnt shake his hand because Evras hand was down there. What else is Luis supposed to do? Would you go to shake someones hand if their hand is way down there by their side? Course not. But then, because Luis didnt do it, Evra has pulled him back by his arm as he walked on, as if to say to everybody: Look, I wanted to shake his hand and he didnt

Hes following Luis with his eyes as if to say: Right hes gone, hes gone (past me) so Ill pull him back now Evra probably stayed up all night thinking about how to do that. The whole thing was ridiculous.

A simple 'no comment' might have been more appropriate LOL.

I would rather he stuck up for his mate. Our club is still being dragged through the mud, its not like thats gone away. And as the article makes quite clear GJ doesn't enjoy talking about it- but he was asked the questions and he answered honestly. Got absolutely no problem with that. Especially him responding to that mug McGrath. Absolute c**t.

I won't comment any more on the issue. Until the next Liverpool player/manager/cleaner brings it up again.

When Eccleston's mates shrugged him off and the club heavied him into retracting a popular sentiment, you were cheering them on.  I'm not sure whether this is a double-standard or not.  It might just be that the donkey dragging LFC through the mud brays, "Up with Bush!  Down with equality!"

Carling Cup, spring board to more success or more complancency. What a frustrating game. I don't understand why Kenny hasn't perservered with Carroll given that he was starting to look sharp.

The fan who was accused of racially abusing the Oldham player has been found not guilty. Wonder where Ollie Holt, that mug Taylor etc have all gone...

Liverpool scored 25 points in their 20 PL games under Hodgson; they have 26 points from their last 20 under Kenny Dalglish.

The fan wasn't found not guilty. Rather, there was insufficient evidence for the case to go to trial. Which, of course, doesn't mean something racist wasn't said, but innocent until proven guilty and all that.

Anyway, massive game tonight in the race for seventh!Arsenal2012-03-14 02:04:24
