Should be on tv, although not 100% sure.

Great result this morning. Love Kenny telling Luis to take the peno  made up he scored as well. Good to hear big Andy starting to find his feet too. Lovely goal, and great header for Suarez.
Stoke at home next round.

But, next stop, Wembley. Genuinely cannot wait.

Can't get into town by that time anyway. No public transport and work beckons after we're presented with the trophy! So smug...

I'm on holiday from monday fly out of chch at 830, taxi is picking me up 7:15, the final better not go to extra time!

Jono on loan to boro hope he gets game time, really feel that he needs to step up a little bit more and he would be very close to the starting 11 squad.

Final line ups?

            Reina
Johnson Skirt Agger Enrique

       Adam Spearing
           Gerrard

Bellamy             Suarez

            Carroll

Totally. It's been too long since we were at a final and especially one at Wembley!

Have to feel slightly sorry for Cardiff, well done to them. Great game, Dirk Kuyt the man who never lets LIverpool down! Skrtel saves off the line right at the end too!

Now I've had a bit of time to calm down   ( just a bit) , it was a good game to watch.Cardiff deserve a lot of credit for the way they played- didn't just park the bus but tried to play a good game of football.Well done taffys- great attitude and a good game. Great to see their supportes clapping Bellars when he came on , too.

Downing had a very very good game today- perhaps the best I've seen him play in red.Skrts- just a rock and a great deal of composure to take his goal.
I'm still not convinced about Adam but damn he has a sweet left foot.
Gerro- a bit quiet and not the dominant game we're used to.
Suarez- not his day really but some flashes of sublime skill.
Carroll- I'm NOT a fan but I thought he did Ok today- some flicks and nod downs to Luiz could have been so much more.
Hendo- hooked deservedly- a bit ineffectual.

Overall though , very very happy. I'm in a sh*t load of trouble with Jr's mum though- I got him to school late .

And. Breathe.

Wow, what a rollercoaster that was! Well played Cardiff, top drawer from their lads. They were dead on their feet at the end but kept fighting. Shame it has to end like that for a team that deserved more.

Well in our boys though. Not pretty but we did it and I'm proud of them. After the shyte we've had to put up with the last couple of years it's great to see Stevie, Carra, Pepe et el with some silverware. We beat Chelsea and Citeh along way which has been no mean feat. Well done, savour it and push on!

Sooooo good to see Stevie holding something aloft for us again!

Here's hoping he can do the same with the FA Cup, and bring home the league double.

i love how Suarez got the biggest cheer when it was his turn to hold up the trophy. Just shows that even though he hasn't made the best decisions in the past, the fans and the club are willing to stand by and support him. YNWA

he was, but tbf, he's saved us countless times over the years, so I'm not sure any Liverpool fan is going to begrudge him that

Wasn't just about him. A few of the lads were poor but it's a team effort over a number of games, not just the final.

He deserves it more than most.

Did you see Piers Morgan try and have a go at Charlie Adam?

I can't count the  number of games that we've won SOLELY due to Stevie G over the last few years.  The fact that we can win without him playing well is , in my view , a very good sign.I said last year that we played better as a team when he was injured and couldn't rely on him for inspiration. So if he gets to hold a cup up ,it's a measure of the fact that he is the team captain and good on him.I'm a bit sad for Lucas - would have been lovely to see him with a medal , the way he's played the last 2 years.
When we win the FA cup , Stevie will have a blinder in the final and score the winning goal so

But actually, two lovely shots of a truly wonderful human being. Or, as Gerrard put it, "the best goalkeeper in the world".

Gerrard off after 30min. Tight hamstring?

Should never have played. Same with Charlie, Luis and Skrtel. Hate friendlies...

I'm actually astounded these guys volunteered to play after Monday's effort. Stevie has to take some responsibility here, after his injury run over the last 12 months he must have known he was putting himself at risk.

probs thought he was going to be captain. but yeah, agreed, seems mental. so now no Stevie and probably no Agger...
