love how his baby girl goes flying when he's celebrating the first goal, haha. I f**king love him.

And what a time for Dirk to get his 50th goal for the club. just about sums him up, doesn't it.

Two frights of my life this morning:

1. We actually didn't sign anyone, just like Kenny said.

2. We beat Wolves and looked pretty good doing it!

Good work from the front three, stream was a bit sketchy but Adam, Enrique and Spearing looked good too.

Spurs next. Beware the defensive wall of Saha and Nelson!

Draw. Not the end of the world and we didn't learn anything we didn't already know i.e Ball. Must. Go. In. Net.

Carroll coming good though.

So many dropped points huh? Still, I didn't really expect to win the EPL and we are still challenging for top 4. I hope Carroll gets a long run of games. Man U up next!!

Still can't score if it was happy hour in a knocking shop.I'm still not over his effort ( if you could call it that)against Bolton. Can still just piss off as far as Jr and I are concerned.

I was expecting a bigger threat from Bale but he was well shackled we thought.
I'd like to see Kelly feature more- that boy impresses me each time Ii see him. Only proble is where to play him - for me , a no brainer.RB with Enrique at LB when fit.Long term , I wonder if he's got CB potential.

Only good thing- I don't have to buy my Spurs mate a curry. ALthough when Suarez buggered up that header , I must admit I had the menu open

Suarez is an absolute disgrace!! If he is not sacked I will end my support for Liverpool.  For once I agree with Sir Alex ....

Best you drop any of your kit off at the local sallies then or some other charity. I support Suarez & LFC 110%. How can you not?

A disgrace? Evra the antagonistic, conniving spawn that he his was out for Suarez from the start (even way back in Oct). Look at the handshakes again and Luis offers his hand but Evra withdraws slightly giving the impression he ain't doing it then theatrically makes a sense by going after Suarez.

Who instigated the half fiasco? Evra. Who pranced around Suarez after the final whistle antagonising Luis into retaliating? Evra. Who was the person who left Evra alone, verbally and physically the entire game even while being pursued the entire match? Luis Suarez.

Who the F--k is Ferguson to tell us who can wear the Red shirt? Wanting Luis shipped off and banned for life for what Luis believes he's innocent? Mr Ferguson have you forgotten about one Eric Cantona the Kung Fu fighter?? F--k off.

Sorry mate, if you want to side with Alex then ask for Leggy in one of the other threads.

Well that's blown off some steam and that's all I'll say on the matter. If our own lads can't even get behind the team what hope do we have? Time to move on folks, no more Suarez v Evra no more sh-t handshakes, they should be dumped anyway. It's over, let's get on with some football. Brighton next then Wembley.

Oh you are f...ing kidding me.GGF. Or are you Leggy in disguise?

So I guess Ebay will be seeing an XXXXXL Liverpool shirt for sale soon then- cause ain't no way Kenny will sack Suarez. He may leave , and who can blame him, but he won't be sacked.
Evra is just the biggest c**t currently playing in the EPL  and there is some stiff competition for that title ( and when you consider the rivals for the title include that bastion of racial tolerance John Terry and that complete  knob gobbler Rio Ferdinand , one can see how Evra deserves the title).

Whatever the character of Evra and whether, or not, he is the biggest **** in the EPL, Suarez portrayed himself, at best, as naive the fall into Evra's 'trap', as many supporters are claiming. At worst, he revelled his true character. He may be a great footballer, but he is also a small man. And trouble is, one day, his footballing skills will fade, but his character won't. And I am sorry to say King Kenny hasn't enhanced his reputation either. Just sad, sad.

Hey you bastards I'm still here.

HE was the racist one. So for him to refuse to shake hands is incredibly stupid.

Yes,Evra acted like a Twit at the end (though it was pretty funny). But Suarez had the chance to let things go at the start but chose not to.

Now this is bang on.Agree 100%.
The whole sordid episode has been very mucky.I posted when it occured that I would change my mind over Suarez if presented with convincing evidence ( i'e other than that c..t's word) that he did say what he was alleged to have said.I have not seen said evidence.Kenny is loyal to his players ( an admirable quality ) but I do think the club could , and should, have handled it a bit differently. The silence from the owners has always been deafening.Still love them to bits , though.ANd Evra's still a ...t

Suarez could abuse every player of every ethnicity in the premier league and he'd still be a more likable character than Evra.* I abhor Evra, he's a horrible little petulant man and I have zero respect for him. I've disliked him since well before the spat with Suarez.

*Before people jump down my throat keep in mind that I don't think racism is ever OK and that sentence doesn't condone racism. More puts perspective on how intolerable Evra is.

So why would Suarez apologise if he didn't do anything wrong.

Apologies all round this morning I see and rightly so. What Suarez did, as to some extent King Kenny too, was move the debate away from the original incident and the character of Evra to their own behaviour and reactions. The story became about the character, behaviours and reactions of Suarez and King Kenny. That's just poor management and judgement. They lost control of the whole saga and therefore have come out of it worse off.

Prettymuch this. I'm glad they apologised, this whole thing was heading down hill fast and just turning into a nasty sh*t slinging match. Yes Evra is a Twit and this has been handled poorly by the FA, but hopefully everyone can just move on now.

Ian Ayre has waded in as well , I see. I wonder if pressure from on high was brought to bear on Kenny and Suarez , insisting on apologies. Some US papers have picked the story up as well; the main gist there has been the potential damage to LFC brand internationally if this was allowed to carry on. Just idle speculation on my part but if Fenway looks at LFC as an asset for possible future sale , they wouldn't want a permanent stain on their asset , would they?
An apology this morning from Suarez was essential ( even if he feels aggrieved.)Some dude once said "admit your mistakes before someone else exaggerates them for you".
Kenny's reputation , although a bit tarnished , will recover.Suarez's , unfortunately , probably not.
Now that that's out of the way , we need a "lets kick cocks out of football" campaign akin to the anti-racism one. Man U would need a whole new team

This must be what is meant by 110% support for Suarez - not satisfied with making an attack on Evra's character (despite the ruling of the FA), you're weighing in on his lineage.

So this. The whole apology is a directive from on high. The whole situation has been nasty. Tell you what though, I wouldn't be surprised to see Suarez end up at Madrid in the summer. I don't want it to happen of course, I just think this is the reality of ruthless businessmen in charge.

Genuine questions:

1. Do all you supporters feel that the club has been victimised?

2. Do any of you think that some of this isbrought about by the club's actions/inactions and your gaffer's handling of the press?

Can the answer be yes to both?

My thoughts are that the 8 match ban based on what appears to be suspicious circumstances(previous unfounded accusations from EVra, no support from his teamates, no other witnesses,  and a finding from the hearing stating that he presented as more reliable) the whole ban seemed to be an attempt by the FA to show that they were serious about racism, fair enough too. However from my little understanding, as stated above it does seem unfounded and almost a witchunt to find a victim.

I do think that Liverpool have handled it badly though. The Suarez T-Shirts, handshake gate (As I have just named it) and an attitude in the press of we are to cool has hurt the whole situation. I love the rivalry with otehr clubs especially Man U but think the whole thing has been a nightmare
