Seem to be sold out although can't see any official confirmation of this just yet. After three, damn annoying as we've already got flights.

Edit: This has most likely been the case for a while but officially sold out now.

How did everyone go with getting tickets?  I haven't had any luck so far........

Flights booked and tickets purchased for 6 people.

Had trouble getting any sort of ticket for game even at 11 AM Thursday morning, had to split in to a 4 and a 2 in two separate transactions.

Used a code from LFCTV as Ticketec site stating only single ticket purchases at any price just after 11.30am.

Not much left to play for this season aside from finishing ahead of Everton. 3 points away at Reading this weekend would be a good start!

Still hoping for 5th place!!! Can't believe how much tickets are to the Melbourne game huh?

You going bro? Got bronze tickets for $60 which I was stoked with. Alongside the 'pool end just by chance.

Seems a long way off. You'll struggle for sixth. Everton do have a tougher run in but they are five points clear of your sorry lot with a game in hand.

Yeah when I said it, it was before this weekend's games. That horse has probably bolted. We shall see.

I really really hope so! Would be great if he gave it another season. Not gonna hold my breath but fingers crossed. Unlucky with the tickets, if you don't mind looking for flights late, keep an eye on ebay. Usually a rush at the start of sold out events but closer to the time, you may find a bargain.

you guys are building nicely for future seasons, wouldnt be surprised at all if he stayed, especially with quality like coutinho in behind him

i get the feeling that as long as rodgers is left by the owners to do his thing, and dalglish's deadwood is slowly pushed out and replaced by guys that fit rodgers system, you'll keep getting better and better

Probably get laughed at for this but I think both Liverpool and Arsenal are closer to title challenges in the coming seasons than many realise

Spurs are treading water, match day revenue is holding them back, Chelsea are in serious trouble now that FFP is actually gaining traction, and although Man City are getting on board with FFP, they will be hamstrung by it at the same time - gone are the days of 200 million transfer windows. When fergie retires I think the playing field will be levelled all round.

We could seriously see 4-5 way title battles in future which would be great for the premier league

Awww ain't you sweet haha. The optimist in me completely agrees with the direction we're heading. Thought after Rodgers got appointed, the best thing to do would be to give him 3-5 years, regardless of results so he can implement his system without needing to be scared of short-term failure.

A fergie-less league would be very interesting and I'm sure everyone is looking forward to that finally happening haha sorry utd supporters but jesus, play fair!

Roll on 13/14 (as long as we buy a new quality CB to partner Agger, a couple of wide players with pace and a third striker would be nice too).

I like your optimism Paul. As buffy has pointed out previously, Liverpool fans get quite optimistic at this time of the year! We really need to kill off those games that we dominate but don't win. That is probably the difference between Europe and us. Still....I believe we are in a bette rplace now than last year. Even if you go back two years we were close to bankruptcy under the bad yanks!

After 8 trophy-less seasons us gooners are in your boat these days i.e. 'maybe next year'

Although I still maintain that I hate football when liverpool are doing well. There's so many fair-weathers that come outta the woodwork (not digging at you guys - you're obviously not bandwagoners!)

Thanks to your 70s/80s success you've got a sh*tload of dormant fans out there just waiting to get involved at the first hint of something... and those are the fans I can't stand!

Fudge , Suarez  , you absolute muppet!!

I'm a huge fan of his , and have previously posted that I thought he'd stay for one more year , to see how likely it was we'd get to CL next season. Now , I suspect he's played his last game for us. I think he'll be gone for the rest of the season ; I also think that Fenway may well sell him in the summer because of this and also his previous history. No player is irreplaceable but he comes very close currently. 30 goals , and he goes and does something this fudgeing stupid.

How depressing is this. Not even the best team in the city.

Smart stuff Suarez! Ensuring no one will want to buy you so you can score 30 for us next season. Touché! A little less nonsense now though, you've made your point.

One of these a season to cool the bidders. So sneaky.

It's the club we have to worry about here. That prick Ayre and FSG can't wait to get rid of him. Rodgers will be only to happy to accept, of course. Can't wait to see us sell Suarez and replace him with Williams, di Santo and Sinclair. Should do the trick.

Not a bad result this morning! just wondering if coutiniho is on loan? or was that a permanent deal ... from what i have seen (only a handful of games) he is quality!!

Permanent deal.

Not his best half but impressed so far. Going forward he looks the goods but gave it away a bit too easily a few time this morning. We clicked as soon as Sturridge came on and we went 4-4-2.

Permalink Permalink
almost 13 years ago · edited about 5 years ago · History

Was poor yesterday, but yeah, he's looked good so far. Sturridge seems pretty inconsistant. Good yesterday, but has been awful last couple appearances. Will be interesting to see how we go without Suarez for the rest of the season.

Rafa's such a gent, would have him back in a heartbeat.
