Another frustrating loss. I'm starting to get sick of seeing Liverpool play out of their skins and still lose, as we did last night and against Man City a few weeks ago. Given that we were down to ten men last night and had several questionable decisions go against us, I think we did bloody well to be fair, but being able to hold your head up high is not the same as having points on the table.
I've been impressed with the young players, Sterling and Suso did well last night too, but it seems like relying on players like that might have a long term payoff, with the possibility of several more frustrating losses in the mean time.
The only bright spot is that if we play like we did last night, we should start picking up three points with some 'easier' games coming up in Norwich, Stoke and Reading. The sooner we get out of that relegation zone the better.
