Fudgeing Manchester scum.

Class as always from their fans. The "sit down you paedophile chant" came through loud and clear on TV when we played them the other week too. Pretty quick to complain when anyone mentions Munich of course.

What a load of bollocks. Any of you lot trying to take any club based morale high ground here is ridiculous. All of our clubs have supporters who let everyone else down and not a single club can try and act like they don't have their share of bad fans.

The fans at Anfield were doing exactly the same thing. Arse fans chant anti-semitic messages weekly. What do they say, don't throw stones in glass houses?

It wasn't just a small group at OT though - you could actually hear the chants clearly on the TV and for that to happen, it has to be a huge section of the crowd. Agree that all fan groups have their horrible elements BUT United took this to the next level.

I completely disagree - that depends entirely on how the fans are mic'ed up and how the broadcaster chooses to mix the sound. Everyone I have spoken to has mentioned that is equally prominent.

"Murderers" flags on the motorway overpasses, non-stop chanting. Disagree all you like but it's hardly hear at all usually, why all of a sudden would the broadcaster decide to amplify those kind of chants. Are you implying some kind of media conspiracy against United fans?

Also, your comment on moral high ground? I'm not taking any - I'll freely admit when people from my fan group are behaving in a deplorable manner and have even pulled LFC lads up on it at pubs here while watching games. If you can't admit that in a particular point in time a significant portion of Man Yoo fans were at their worst, then you're delusional.

So Benteke having a go at Klopp? Career suicide?

Gotze? Yes please!

Wouldn't that be brilliant. I have my fingers crossed that Klopp will be able to attract the top talent that Germany has to offer, in that way that Rodgers was able to attract the top talent Wales had to offer.

So let's say Gotze and Hector come into the team (and let's sell Mings and add ter Stegen just to see if fans from other threads want to come and have a laugh)...

Ter Stegen

Clyne      Matip     Sakho    Hector

Can       Henderson

Firmino   Gotze   Coutinho

Sturridge

Subs: Ward (GK). Ings, Origi, Flanno, Lovren, Lallana, Gomez, Milner

If you can pull those transfers off, it will be a good team for the 17/18 season. No Lucas in the match squad?

Lucas is a strange one - if our defence is solid, we don't really need him as Can can do the same role albeit with a more box to box midfielder approach, however, when our defence is rubbish, Lucas can sometimes mask those problems with the work he does in front of the back 4. Tough one.

Not sure if anybody is interested, but New Balance is having a sale (getting rid of ) on its Liverpool kit - 40% off

https://www.newbalance.co.nz/liverpool-fc/ ((not sure if this breaks forum rules, re advertising etc, sorry if it does))

I picked myself up the presentation training jacket for cheap as, to replace my old Adidas one.

Cant be long until we start seeing sneak previews of next year's kit as well.

Pretty big game tonight in terms of the league. I read today we've beaten Spurs the last three times we've played them!

Good result, should be taking a lead back to Anfield but for 5 or 6 great saves from their keepers BUT considering they were all over us for the first 15, nice to take an away goal home with us. Got to watch the counter attack from them but pressing worked well on them.

Thought they looked a bit shakey at the back.Attack more at home the way to go.Should be a good atmosphere as well.

Yes will certainly take 1-1 away against a very good Dortmund side. Hopefully finish the job next week!

I actually thought Lovern and Sahko were impressive, couple of crucial blocks and interceptions.

Origi works really hard, and was impressed with his ability to hold up the ball, just feel his is lacking that little bit of composure at times.

Looking forward to next Friday, will be another morning pretending I'm working.

So that's Dortmund out of the way. Who is next?

Final Hillsborough service was the most moving thing I've ever seen. Kenny will always be the King.

Justice for the 96. Never forgotten.
