Well, I'm glad someone turned up to play football, we simply weren't in your league today.

Transfer rumours are going nuts at the moment for LFC...

  • CFC bidding for Ox but he wants to meet with Klopp to discuss his options
  • Keita is almost done, will be loaned back to RB which means we get him for a cut price
  • VVD will be a Liverpool player this week
  • Lemar from Monaco is in the LFC headlights
  • Sessegnon (sp?) could be purchased from Fulham and loaned back
  • Can could still be off to Juve
  • Mingolet a target for Napoli

"...sure beats doin' stuff."

In order

1. God , why? Let CFC have him.

2. Excellent

3. We'll see. Would be good

4.See reply to 2.

5. Hmm, not sure on that. Would depend on price.

6. Bugger. He was immense against the Arse and the absence of a certain Brazilian prick mat be doing his game a lot of good.

7. Meh

Keita is done! Joins us July next year & rumours it could be sooner depending on how RB's season goes.

People saying that away at the Brazil camp Neymar is advising Coutinho not to go to Barcelona. Hilarious if that's what puts an end to all this!

The way we're playing, Couts might HAVE to go to Barca to get some game time

It's all gone a bit quiet on the Coutinho rumours.....latest is that Klopp has softened his stance and will let him go?

Doubt  Klopp has much to do with it. My view hasn't changed. They sell Coutinho now after insisting all window he isn't for sale- I'm done with them. Actually , I don't really care about him , petulant whiny little prick. But FSG and Klopp have said no sale. Hope I'm wrong but...I have a feeling he might go. Then Mane will go next year and Keita the year after.

As for OX- If Coutinho stays and he arrives- Christ , why? He won't improve the first team at all and I'd find it hard to find a place anywhere for him. He wants to play centre mid- he isn't fit to lace a centre mids boots. If Coutinho goes , then you're welcome to him and good luck winning anything ever again.

Don't think Barca need much luck winning things pal, they seem to do alright as is.

Three for me, and two for them.

apparently the Ox agreed to a 35mi move to LFC. Where do you guys see him playing? Hes been pretty vocal about playing in the middle of the park. Will Klopp put him there?

I have an amazing ability to find my way out of mazes. I'm pathological.

Not sure how he gets in ahead of Can, Henderson or Winaldjum. If Can leaves I still don't see it, not like for like. Then you've got Llalana coming back, and Milner basically in the same position as the Ox - wanting to play CM but playing everywhere else. Milner is a more disciplined positional player, probably a better fit to take Can's spot really.

Although Klopp does play a bit of a total style with players dropping in to cover each other etc so perhaps it could work.

For me the most realistic role looks to be a back-up forward for Mane and Salah?

My Comment was meant to mean that if Coutinho goes , my 40 + year support of LFC stops; LFC would be welcome to OX and good luck LFC winning anything ever again. Pal.

It's an awful signing. Doesn't add anything to first  team , won't get in first team and is a lot of money for a squad player. His audition in the weekend was horrible. For me, is up there with the Carroll signing as a complete and utter waste of money and time. Arse must be rubbing their hands with glee at getting rid of him for that coin.

You would stop supporting a club because they sold a player? Big fan you are mate.

Yes, if the owners and managetr have lied to the fans about selling  someone then yes, my support stops. It isn't the sale per se, but the fact that  if he goes this window, they've lied , having categorically denied he was fior sale

As fior my fan status, I've supported LFC fir 40 years. That includes being at Hillsboroigh , making multiple trips back to UK for rememberance services, postponing chemotherapy so I could get to the last ever service, at a significant cost to me. So yes, I'm a fairly solid fan. Go get fudgeed

Clubs lie to fans all the time. Bet they've lied plenty of times during that 40 years as well.

I'm sure they'll miss you dearly though.

It's one thing supporting a club through thick and thin, it's another supporting a club that no longer represents what you value.

Can certainly empathise with that. Not a million miles away from similar thoughts myself this week quite frankly.

I might disagree in regards to Coutinho but anyone doubting Jazzman's commitment to LFC can GTFO. That is all.

Is The Ox meant to be a Countinho replacement? If so that's a bang average deal chaps.

Permalink Permalink

Not long to.go now...... prediction time!

Coutinho - stays. Think £130m is insane but would be nice to see the club stick to their guns.

Ox - joins. If not already official. Meh. Where does he fit in? Replacement right back? Him and Milner obviously haven't been chatting about it.

Origi - off on loan somewhere. Germany I heard if not part of a deal for Lemar. But......

Lemar - nope. Doesn't end up on Merseyside. Neither does.....

VVD - nope. Doesn't get across the line. The area we most needed reinforcement (got Robertson early) but no. Maybe a late play for another CB.

Sakho - loan. No one willing to pay the supposed  £30m so out on loan again.

So where does that leave us? As a very entertaining team. Pretty goals and conceding plenty too. With every 4-0 blasting of Arse, there's bound to be frustrating as fudge loss to someone else just behind it. If we're willing to throw £70m+ at VVD after all that embarrassing shark, it beggars belief there wasn't someone worth half that still better than Lovren.

Must say I giggled at this considering the change in values at ManU over the last few seasons... spending money like Man City... changing Managers like Chelsea... Aiming for top 4 like Arsenal... going on about history like Liverpool...

Hello team, everyone in good spirits? Sahko out for £26m, Origi to Wolfsburg. Squad looking good.

Arsenal fan TV having a melt down, actually seeing DT and Troopz in constant pain is now sad, I expect Arsenal to rebound though they have a strong set of players still.

Well, the window has closed and Coutinho is still a Liverpool player, praise the baby Jesus. Disappointed with a lack of CB but overall it's been a pretty decent window. And it wouldn't really be an LFC team without a shaky backline, would it!

The Ox transfer kinda reminds me of the Thomas transfer from Arsenal some years ago.

Well that was so very frustratingly us! Would have been nice to be 3-1 up at halftime as we always look like we're gonna concede another.

Sevilla manager chucking the ball away twice, what a douche! Apparently he said afterwards that the second one was to make up for the first....... riiiiiight.
