Seems like it's all falling apart for them - manager is close to being gone. I figured they'd love it when LFC approached them, they know they are due a payday!

It would appear to be a mix up with the club thinking the agent was chatting to Saints but no contact had been made.
LFC will apologise, come back with the 60m offer (or a deal including Sakho) and then it will all go ahead...may just take a bit longer.

But... this episode was the most embarrassing display of ineptitude I can imagine , or remember from a club that has a history of them. Whoever was responsible should go , and if this was Klopp,, then yes , I mean him too.I suspect Michael Edwards was responsible but that's just a guess. The potential ramifications were/are enormous.
Having said that , LFS has fudgeed up the last few transfer windows so this shouldn't come as any great surprise.

Despite the talk of central midfield and his performances at wingback last season, he's predominantly been a winger since we signed him.
It all depends on where Klopp sees him I guess. If it's a winger it might make sense as you don't have too many of those?
Personally I want him to stay, and am hoping this talk is just his agent angling for bigger wages.

As for OX- no , no, a million times no. Other areas we need reinforcing more than this , I'd have thought. LB, probably CB and I'd like to see a creative midfielder. Holding mid? If Klopp goes that way then I think Hendo or Can could do that. But is OX a starter? Not for me.

As for Ox - we need depth and Klopp will believe we will give CL a good crack. 4 competitions with our current squad is no good, need more more, more!

Don't disagree about need for squad depth. We were painfully short at times last year. Our First team was the equal of anyone . better than most. Shorn of one or 2 key players ( The Cout , Mane esp) we didn't look as flash. But , I just don't rate the Ox as much as others may do. He has the physical attributes certainly but hasn't really reached the heights people though he might. For the money he'll cost , I think we'd be better off spending elsewhere.
If you believe the rumours site ( which I do!) it does seem that Klopp is dead keen on Ox..... they also state that we are not keen on Keita.
I agree with larger squad but am still a bit wary of The Rodgers era where we seemed to collect overpaid and overpriced bench warmers

So where are we at with four weeks to go until the start of the season? Robertson from Hull sounds 99% done. Not particularly exciting but we probably need a few dependable, unflashy options to fill out the squad so I'll trust Jurgen on that one.
Sounds like we're still chasing Keita, and VVD has thrown his toys so could still end up at Anfield too. If both of those two come off I'll be stoked, that would count as a good window.

Yeah would be very happy if we still manage to pick up those two. Only other rumour I've heard is Can to Juventus.
How about the new third kit?! Rather loud. Would be quite good if you're riding a bike at night.
Third kit is a bit bizarre. When will we possibly have a game when our red kit clashes too much but an orange kit is great? Perhaps that's not really the point of third kits though.
