yeah, I've felt better, eh! Meireles in the middle is looking good, but maybe its just how rubbish West Ham are. Nice goal...

Maxi, Maxi Rodriguez runs down the wing for me!

Dear Roy,

A couple of things for half time:

1. Pressing forward is working. Attack, attack, attack.
2. Don't you dear go defensive and look to hold the lead.
3. Make a note: Meireles is a cracking good player when you pop him in the center.
4. Enjoy your oranges.

Torres and Poulsen had a shot on goal! Great saves from Green

Yeah, two fine shots and two fine saves! Dull half though. Bring on Dani... lol jk he isn't even on the bench.

Maxi and Meireles playing well.

Article on .tv about Dani. Playing in midfield for ressies at the mo. new position or something.

That was easy. Still took our foot off in the second when we had great chance to nail the goal difference issue at the mo. Still there were some good efforts and Greeny kept really well.

Credit to Poulsen too, he played much better. The odd glimpse of what used to be.

Yip, nice game all around. Really just too easy but we'll take it for sure.. Spurs next or Europa League?

Great ball from Konchesky for Maxi's goal. Agreed about Poulsen too, good job, la.

on a side note, it was good for Carra to get a clean sheet on his 650th game. A real legend, regardless of what I think of him and his current attitude/ performances. Well in, la.

Looks like Rafa's in trouble at Inter. I wonder if J Dubbya will pull a sneaky and bring him back in Jan

Yeah, sounds like its going pretty badly for him there...

On a side note, where are all the others?! Jazcobar etc

Our work is clamping down on internet...freaking Government departments!! Great win...how much better do we look when we have an attacking wing back. Much better having Carra in the middle and someone else on the right

I was listening to a podcast about Liverpool on the weekend and they were saying that they believe that NESV's long term plan is to win the league with young players blah blah we know that. But they felt that they had almost written off this year in search of long term success and were wondering if this was a bit naive given the extra revenue that playing in Europe brings.

Any thoughts?

I doubt they'll have written off the season, that's a bit excessive but I don't doubt that expectations will be lower as they get themselves sorted out. I think Europa league this year is a fair target and then make a good run for Top 4 and CL from next season.

As much as I'm anti Roy, barring a major disaster I'd say he's here until the end of the season too. I'm hoping they've targeted some elite's or promising younger managers and will go after them in the summer. It's pretty hard to get a top manager to leave his post part way through a season. Unless he's dumped of course...

Good read about Roy below

...I do think that if we start to slide back to relegation he will be given the boot and Kenny will come in as a caretaker until the summer. I remember you saying before Kop that NESV are good listeners so I am sure that they know what is going on.

Suso signs a 3yr pro contract with LFC!

Roy would have sold him like he did with them others...

Get in! Fking great news, this kid could be a real star, if we develop him right and start playing some nice passing football. Seriously, he's just 16 and an absolute freak.

Yeah, I'd say they've lowered expectations somewhat. But agree, barring any major disasters, I think Roy will be here for the rest of the season.

As much as I like him, I don't know if bringing back Rafa would be the right thing to do either. Too soon, methinks. Hopefully they have someone good lined up.

I'm still here! Just moved house and went away on holiday!

Agree with you guys Roy will stay still the end of the season, target for a europa spot. I'd love to see Hiddink as the manager.

On a side note did Roy bring any "young" talent thru at Fulham while he was there? Can only think of smalling but he didnt really play much for the first team (??)

Ha cheers! I'm just happy Roy didn't build it as its already on shaky ground being in chch!!!

So spurs away this weekend.............johnson vs bale could be a very interesting battle to say the least! Welcome back Glen here you go face one of the inform wingers in europe!!! Better than playing cara there that could have been a shambles!

 lucky for you then!

Yeah, I know. At least GJ has the pace to match Bale's; whether he has the defensive ability to or not will be seen...

Yip, no thanks to Carra vs Bale!

An interesting debate regarding Suso- whether McMahon's comments about playing him in midfield so he can learn to "track-back".. Do we think this will curb the exciting talent that we have here, as it seems to have done with Pacheco? Yeah, it makes them more complete players, but let them express themselves, learn how to attack and how they want to play, then let them learn how to track back. Or would we rather they had a good team ethic etc etc. Hmmmm

Still early days for these youngsters. Good to learn skills and habits now than later on. The good thing about Suso and Pacheco's talent is that it's not going to disappear on them.

Remember me moaning about us trying to loan Gomez when we should have bit the bullet over the summer and just bought the lad as he's been warming the Munich bench? Anyhoo, he's been starting since Olic busted up his leg and the guys on fire. Scored 2 more already this morning... Blame Hicks.

Edit:
Gomez,
7 Bundes games - 8 goals.
2 CL games - 4 goals.

Oh man, TheKop to replace Hodgson! Defo shoulda signed him up...

Yeah, thats true, but we gotta hope that they don't have the creativity killed in them by the English 'tracking back' methods... Honestly, these guys should go to Barca or Arsenal or something, where they will get a game in the first team and in a team which actually play nice football. In saying that, with the right manager, they could be boss for us. I guess its too early to tell about Suso anyways, but this kid has me excited!

You think Fab will start ahead of 'The Konch'?? I'd take that team though. Probs the best team we have atm. Would also like to see Cole in behind Torres (although I'll probably be wishing he wasn't cos he has been sh*te this season, but we haven't seen him in a while so I'll get excited for it).

2-4 to the Mighty Reds. Maxi, Raul and a Torres brace

Pacheco on the bench??? LOL jk. i shouldn't even hope to see it anymore.
