Good to see Skertel back. I feel a lot more confident about our defence with him fit, Agger through a couple of matches and possible signing of Coates.
If we can keep Suarez fit, get Stevie Gerrard back and get Carroll in the goal scroing form he was in last year we're gonna win the league!

Think a front 3 of gerrard, suarez and meireles would tear teams apart, then have carroll to bring on if things aren't working. It's alot of transfer money sitting on the bench but think it would make the football on the pitch absolutely mouthwatering. With carragher taking over a more limited mentoring role, harsh I know but his speed is just a little too much of a liablity these days
Think I'd go the same. That's a tasty line up and plenty of kwality on the bench. Personally I may swap Skrtl for Carra on the bench. Trust Carra more to come on in the dying stages to protect the goal if needed.
Factor in Bellamy too which is looking likely, I think we can cover most positions pretty well.

Do you think Coates will be thrown straight in? I think they're will be far more of a 'breaking-in' period with Coates than we saw with Suarez due to his age, no European experience etc. et al. And definitely agree Carra ahead of Skrtel on the bench.
^ Yes. He should be given Carra as a mentor and eased in. No need to rush anything at the moment. On the bench and Carling cup to start with.

Can't/ don't really think Coates will start yet. Carra for another year as I think Skrtel is number 3 behind Agger. Go back 1 year and do the same!

Both Jr and I would put Kelly in for Johnson. We're not that convinced by Johnson as yet , although we did think he made a decent fist of LB last yearA good athlete but defensively a bit scratchy.

Very good game indeed! Was so relieved after we got the second goal, was worried it was going to be sunderland all over again. Loving the front 4 changing positions all the time, drifting in, out creating 2 v 1's in wide positions. Passed well and retained composure when bolton were pressing pretty hard in the 1st half too which was good to see.
Really wished suarez scored, thought he was a little bit casual with his chip.

Just watching my recording now.. (was at a mates last night). WOW just saw the Henderson goal ! Suarez's balls in the lead up was unbelievable.. He's f**king insane !

thats amazing. 7 points in 9 games?! I knew it was bad, but holy hell...Henderson is looking class. really really like the lad. got great ability, and could grow to be a fantastic player. that ball to Suarez was ace. put in some top crosses. lovely goal. made up for him to shut up some idiot fans and journalists.
the commentator was a c**t. had a dig at Lucas under Rafa, and then had a dig at Rafa when there was the lady in the crowd looking tired. f**king pissed me right off.
ref was terrible. let so much go. two clear penalties for Suarez.
Suarez is a demon. his attitude is first class. nice, quiet guy off the field, but on it, he's someone else. wants to win so badly. when he went mental at the lino for not giving him a penalty. 3-0 up with 20 minutes to go. could see why other people think he's a twat, but he's our twat. and just such a magnificent player. in love with him.
great to see Coates at Anfield.
Downing and Enrique are boss. A shame Kelly got injured, he looks good. Adam played some magic passes at times. Gerrard won't get back in the team at this rate.
Our defence looks 315846355895 times better with Agger there though.

If someone else had made the mistake Carra did yesterday, he would've chewed their ear off. Really poor, but would rather make that mistake in that situation than when we have a 0-1 lead.

I'd carry Poulsen on my back to France myself. Would rather Cole wasn't a loan move ffs, but better than having him in the squad (for everyone, I'm sure he wants to play football too).
