so so wrong. Could see that in the first 5 mins! and spurs came flying out of the blocks!
gonna be so embarrassed if people start blaming the ref after this...
skrtel and agger need to fck off. Skrtel because he's gash, and agger because countless times he's left us short needing to be subbed off when injured. With Agger the bad outweighs his good footballing ability unfortunately.
Time to sort the team and yourself out Kenny.

Hell! Everything Spurs does seems to be at 100mph and beautifully into space or to feet. Any team would struggle against them today (but maybe not quite as bad)
No shame in the scoreline - would have been interesting if you hadn't got the two red cards but I think you still would have struggled.
Can you give Carroll back to the Toon? He plays much better in black and white.
Edit: The Guardian agrees!:
"PEEEEEEP!!!!! That's it. It's Liverpool's worst Premier League defeat in eight years or so but going down to nine men skewed things horribly. Of more concern than the scoreline was how disjointed they looked when they had 11 players on the pitch though. Adebayor was excellent for Spurs, and Defoe looked refreshed alongside him.'Junior822011-09-19 02:38:57

That was horrible, we all were thinking right back would be a problem and it was, and the question marks over Carragher's ability and Agger's injury-prone-ness are still around too. Kenny got it wrong today and the attitude was wrong. They created some real clear cut chances, some that seemed to be can't miss opportunities, and just played us off the park literally.

You just know Kenny will though...
Been doing it for the last couple of weeks and no doubt he'll be looking to deflect some blame.
I thought picking Skrtel to mark Bale was a disaster waiting to happen, Bale was always going to be too quick for him. And he was either going to skin him to create a goal and/or smash him in a tackle and get booked.

We have had some pretty sh*te referees, tbf, and Kenny speaks like the King he is. And you're wrong. He said we were to blame for starting so badly, which is exactly right.
Agreed. Skrtel was always going to get destroyed by Bale's pace. Also think Spearing should've started. Don't really like Adam tbh and this was not his sort of game. Easy in hindsight, but still.
We just got hammered. From start to finish. The sending offs didn't help (although both were more than fair enough), but we were never in it. Got exactly what we deserved. Just really really poor. Gutted that we've lost Agger also. It was only a matter of time, I guess.
On a positive note... Enrique is good?
Away fans nothing short of brilliant.

Yup. not sure we would have lost 4-0, but we would have needed to get our act together pretty quick and it didn't look like we would have tbh. both red cards were perfectly fine too, so we can't even complain about that.
Christ you look poor. Arsenal have always been rubbish at defending (for awhile at least) but it used to be one of your strengths. Now you are all at sea.
That f**king fat Spanish waiter, I tell ye! Ruined the club proper like!

Kennys assessment of the game was well fair, there were no excuses and he realises something needs to change by our next game.
Forget about Spurs...onwards and upwards
Brighton tomorrow! Hope to see a strong team put out. Brighton have been doing well this season and I think just lost top spot this week? Never easy to go away to a Championship team either, and after the Spurs game they'll smell blood. Hopefully Carroll can be involved and do well, and it'll be good to see Coates in a proper game. Maybe Stevie at some point? But I doubt it. All gone quiet there. I'd give Lucas a rest, the poor guy was a one man midfield on Monday. I'd have Kuyt and/or Maxi too. Hopefully Kelly is fit!
Come on you mighty Redmen!
stevie on the bench, coates starting! come on lads!
0-2 at the moment! Bellamy and Kuyt scored. Gerrard back out there for the last 20, good to see. Apparently bossed the first half and been outplayed 2nd half. 5 minutes left.
And as I say that, we give away a peno. Carra, of course, but the blame lies with Speo.. 1-2

Yea another carra pen but at least stevie got on. Any ideas on how he went?

Looked "spritely" apparently.. he came on with 20 minutes to go though, and seeing as we got dominated throughout the second half, was just great to see him back!
Buzzing, great morning. Falcao with another hatrick, Madrid held and 'Pool into the next round!
Now, a nice home game please...
sounds like bellamy and kuyt played really well today. I still think kuyt needs to start on the right over henderson atm. Suarez and kuyt link up so well together!
that freekick from bellamy was f**king insane

Yeah pretty good from someone thats not a Brazilian! Speaking of which did anyone see hulks free kick in the champ league? That was amazing!

Yeah, mental hit. Just smashed it. Wish it had gone in!
Looked average: but Suarez goal, Gerrard on for 10 and 3 points.
Also, not sure how I feel about Torres current knack for being the Hero, then doing a 180.

Agree, very ropey with wolves pressure for a spell in the second half. Good to see gerrard getting a run he's looking good! Lucas and enrique had a good game! Henderson is still not looking that great. Kuyt should defo be starting imo!
Ha yes torres......what a classic strikers tackle!

And what a superb goal from Suarez! Class class class!
jeeez were sh*t house in front of goal at the moment.
Wee aside chaps... New Nix Co-Owner Rob Morrison admits in DP question time online today to being a lifelong Liverpool fan.
There's class right there!

If that could continue for at least one more week, would be appreciated COYBs

Still haven't forgotten where we were 1 year ago with Woy......MUch much better to get ugly results huh?

Very true, suddenly it's not too bad! After all we did lose this game last season!
On a side not I'm not feeling that the right wing is the right place for henderson to be. I haven't seen him get 1 v 1 and beat his man and deliver a cross, he's always wanting to come inside to his more natural position. IMO he's a cm. Thoughts?
Checking back in...
I can't help but think if we can convert even a couple more of the chances we make each game we'll be away sailing. We've been hit by some poor decisions, a couple of bad results and you can see it's starting to click in places and we just need that burst of confidence to boost us. How many shots have hit the bar in the last two games? 5,6? Throw in Suarez' near misses and we could have been looking at 4+ goals a game.
Stevie looks hungry to kick some ass and his appearances have definitely been a boost. I think we'll see Adam making way for Gerrard?
Onwards and upwards though, the bitters this week! Should be a cracker. Tough picking a line up, I hope we burst out of the blocks and give it to em.

Oh and Kop Jr has been learning YNWA, he's just about got all the words sorted. If only I could take him to a game at Anfield...
Luisito's goal was absolutely amazing. What a player. Great result. Think it was a bit closer due to the score- we could've and should've put the game out of reach with three clear chances after they scored.
Can't wait for the derby, gonna be a close game! Hopefully make ammends for the awful showing from last season.
Gerrard looking good too. Enrique and Lucas are boss. Suarez is a class apart. Also thought Carroll had a really good game, which was a promising sign.

Stevie is so up for it! Fully agree on Enrique and Lucas, love Jose's physicality. Carroll had his best showing of the year but he's still lacking fitness imo, you could see his touch getting heavier as he tired. Should have been pulled instead of Suarez; I absolutely love how f**ked off Suarez gets when he gets pulled. Shaking his head, swearing and kicking a bottle of water all over the Wolves bench

Yup, Enrique is boss! Thinking getting him or Lucas on the back of my next shirt
yup, he was probs looking forward to playing with Gerrard too. They could be dynamite together. Loved when he kicked the water bottle- he was trying to keep it all inside, then just unleashed.
