[QUOTE=TheKop]So Hughton and Allardyce get the boot for performing on par or above average and we're stuck with Roy after our worse start to a season since 1967.

Check this:

I know, so unfair! Can't we get rid soon plz plz plz?

Kwalitee. Its sad cos its probably legit; "Forward players stay close together for longer passes"...

Oh, btw, loving your avatar Kop

Babel, for sure. Poulsen, although unlikely. Even maybe Fabio, and sign a proper left back, leave The Konch away from the first team.

Sign: Dempsey, Hangeland and Zamora...

What about Kuyt? I'm a fan because he always gives heaps but is he what we want?

A few rumours about Torres wanting to leave...please God no!!

I'm not sure we shoul be culling in January, however wouldn't say no if the right money came along for the right player ie Babel.

Over the summer though:

Sell:
Babel
Jova (by his choice if a decent offer comes along)
Poulsen
Cole
Konchesky

Bring back:
Insua
Aquaman

Yeah, I'd go with that list, Kop. Agree, I don't think Kuyt should be starting (espesh cos his style of play just doesn't suit Roy's tactics) but I'd keep him around. Top, top pro.. Youngsters could learn a lot from his attitude alone.

Torres clearly isn't happy, tbf. And if it came down to Roy or Torres...

Not Dirk's time yet. I believe we still need to keep a core or foundation of the current team to build on.

Gerrard, Torres, Reina, Kuyt are the cornerstones for the next year. Too much experience and LFC blood to just let go on a whim. My .02c anyway...

A little surprised about Cole....I still think he could be good for us. I can't imagine Aquaman coming back although I would love it, him and Meireles in midfield would be awesome

A good .2c as well! I agree about the foundation...I do worry that at the moment our foundation players are miserable. Torres Reina etc. Oh and Rumour has it that Glen Johnson is unhappy and wants out as well. That would be a shame

Yeah, I hear he's doing pretty well at Juve. Not much chance he'll be back. And isn't Insua out of contract at the end of the season?

Mmmm, nobody is happy under Woy!

Free videos of the live LFC.tv interviews and fan talkback that happened this morning with Henry, Werner and Ayre. Haven't watched any yet but it sounds like they did pretty well.

Surely they know about Roy and how people don't like him etc? I still believe that we will have a new manager soon....keep the faith lads!

Some good questions being asked about Roy. Very blunt and to the point! A bit of stepping in reply but that's expected.

It's blocked here at work might watch at home but who is asking questions? fans I assume?

Just finished watching John and Tom. These two are really growing on me, John speaks thoughtfully and in a manner that encourages trust. Listening to the previous trashy owners there was never a time you believed a word they said. Also should mention that Ian Ayre looks tops too and I can see now why they kept him on board.

They tackled the tough questions well, although Matt did a sterling job directing traffic for some if it but there will be no doubt now that they are aware that Roy is not wanted at the club.

As much as I can't stand it, it would appear Roy is here until the summer but these guys are smart, they'll have a plan and frustrated old me will have to be patient.

Right, Utrecht tomorrow. Sounds like Roy's playing a few of the heavies. Predictions?

        Reina
Kelly Skrtl Soto Aurelio
   Spearing Shelvey
Babel    Cole    Pacheco
        Torres

Or if he goes 442 then Nando and Babel up front with Cole and Dani out wide.

IJUSTWANNASEEPACHECO. But yeah, hopefully Torres can grab a goal or three, get some confidence back. Yip, that team would be good. I hear he's not playing The Konch.. Recipe for disaster!

And play him in a position where he actually plays, eg in the hole or on the left.

I would actually like to see Babel play up front with Torres. Hopefully score a few goals and cheers old grumpy Nando up.

These Yanks do seem on to it huh? I am sure that they have a plan and that they are in for the long haul. I guess it is kind of frustrating because we will be stck with Roy until the summer. Looks like it's going to be a struggle to get into Europe for next year though.....I hope that the new owners are aware that this may mean that people like Torres may consider there future with our club....

yeah. the long term just gets further and further away the longer that Roy is at the club.

He obviously watched the phone in yesterday. If the guy had any self respect or genuinely cared one iota for the club he'd stand up and resign after listening to caller after caller demanding he be sacked. Ah but what can ya do...

I loved the comment someone made on RAWK about Gardiola not going to be at Barca next season. There was a frenzy several pages long about getting Pep in, demanding the sauce and would he even want to come. There's some brilliant knee jerk reactions on that site. Good comedy.

Yeah, but there are some sound posters there too. The mods are usually good, L6 Red is tops, Fat Scouser etc etc They make it worth all the rubbish!

Dear Roy,

Have you noticed how Dani's changing the game? Added that little spark hasn't he?
Permalink Permalink

If Aurelio is fit has to play ahead of Konch. Great delivery man.

The only good thing about that game was that it ended.

Boring as fk. But it was always gonna be a meaningless game anyway, so nice to see some of the kids get a run out. Fulham next? And yes, Fab should start ahead of Konch every time.
