far our im surprised at the roy hate, he's doin alright isnt he? 11th with a cupla games in hand on those immediately above you...

with those crappy previous owners driving you fullas into the ground, along with rafa's transfer money wasting, i thought it decent that you seem to be recovering slowly but surely?

Meireles is awesome, Lucas seems to be getting better, gerrard and torres obviously class acts, decent group of CBs, awesome GK, still weak on the flanks and with back up strikers, but kuyt is good, cole could yet come right, ngog seems to be improving, maxi too... konchesky a bit dodge this year but he was ok at fulham and you've got aurelio still...

i would be happy if was you fellas considering the circumstances

Cracking rumour over Christmas by one of RAWK's more respected members: Rafa was at Anfield for a meeting last Wednesday, is due back on Thursday for another meeting and has had a phone conversion with Comolli. Make of it what you will but it's certainly stirring the Rafa pot...
Really!! Rafa's Return? Would be timely Christmas pressy.

Nah, think it was just a joke but good ol' RAWK went into meltdown over it

How would you feel abut Wenger being replaced by Hodson or Allardyce? While we're at it, we'll replace Clichy with Konescky and Song with Poulson. You can stop all that pass and move shyte you play and default back to two banks of 4 that sit tightly just outside of your own 25 yard box. Don't forget you need to get the ball to RVP who sits on the half and waits for the eloquent hoof.

You forget to mention replacing van persie with carlton cole!  I wince every time I see that headline.  I'd prefer to have nothing than wasting 9 mill on him!

rafa is hardly arsene

liverpool hardly played pass and move before, i've seen a lot of terribly negative games played out under rafa's management

I think the real comparison is 'how would you feel if arsenal sold out to that russian guy who's floating around and he ran the club into the ground within 2 years?'

And that still makes my argument relevant as i made the statement 'i would be happy if i was you fellas considering the circumstances'
Some of you guys don't seem to get it... you are the new Leeds

The new Leeds? NESV will hope not.

I have a long memory. Is it so bad for us to want to be challenging for trophies?
Some don't think Hodgson is the man to do that.

TheKop makes a good point. Would the current top four be happy to have him as their manager?
I would doubt it.

I'm not going to get into a debate over Hodgson. I've made my feelings known often over the last 20 odd pages here. The bottom line is Liverpool should be in the top 4 challenging with the best of the best, not just in the PL but in Europe too. Hodgson is not the man to take us there. Too many mistakes have been made from the old administration and Roy is the last that needs to be remedied.

Back to the game...

John's tweeting mid-game now too...

@John_W_Henry 3 of 4 lost at home and getting a lot of tweets about adding bats. 4 games! It just shows how important every game is to our terrific fans.

Roy Hodgson: "I think we were a bit unlucky to lose the game, probably 0-0 would have been a fair result." <-- what a twat.

Only one team deserved to win that game and they did.
A nil all draw would have been just as bad. The result was irrelevant.
The performance was the problem.

It's like saying we deserved something.

Hodgson Hits Out At Anfield Crowd After Liverpool Loss

Reds manager thought his side did enough to earn a 0-0 draw.

That's sacking material right there. FFS Woy it was Wolves at ANFIELD(all due respect to Wolves and all), a fair result is letting them get 1 while you go on and score 3 or 4
I have to be  honest though i'm loving Liverpools predicament at the moment it's about time (imo)

Why oh why couldn't Wolves have done that on the last day of the season in 1976?

What amazes me about Liverpool is the quality of their squad. Great players dont just become bad players over night. You have one of the best strikers around and he hasn't gone suddenly bad? I find it amazing such a decent and expensive squad are under performing.

Buggered if I can figure it out, the only real constant at Anfield is Phil Thompson is still there in the background. Perhaps over these last ten years, he has lost his touch? Is Sammy Lee back there doing some coaching??
Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!
