Typically predictable. Positives can go f*ck themselves, we go out again.
Good effort Arsenal - way to bounce back. LFC vs AFC FA Cup Final?
Yes please!
"...sure beats doin' stuff."
Good effort lads...Lots to be proud about including:
.
- The "Specialist in Failure" going out in the last 16... again
- Player swapping shirt at half time
- Player getting booked for diving.

Ooohh.... someones got their panties in a twist
what an edge of the seat last 20 minutes that was. too many times we seemed to have players in the way in the opposition box adding to the croud in front of goal. still they are the best side we have beaten since man city at home :)
rojas, so special
I love United fans giving it the big one. How did you go in Europe this year? Oh wait, you didn't qualify because you finished in fudgeing 7th last year you pathetic shower of losers. Go back to praising LVG for his wacky team selections and stupid accent.
Three for me, and two for them.
next they will criticise sanchez for not manhandling the ref
rojas, so special
decent performance, it was allways going to be tough after our efforts in the first leg
How good has santi been in the last few months.....he's has all been great for us but has taken it to another level. he's getting through a lot of defensive work in his new deeper role as well. I know Ozil and Alexis played well but you sort of want something special from them on nights like this
thought ref could have handed out a few more yellows which would have helped us
Great finish from giroud, Welbeck is getting better and better...just needs to improve a tad in the final third.
Was expecting a bit more impact from Theo to be honest, its a lot clearer why wenger choose welbeck over theo. Wilshere and Theo will really have to fight to get a starting spot
go gunners

Actually I was digging at the person that made the prediction, not the team----- plonker.
I always support English teams in the Champions League. As for stupid accent- have you been deaf for the last 19 years.
If you are old and wise you were probably young and stupid

My advice to Leggy would be to find some stupid condescending image to post.
As an aside what's wrong with half time shirt swapping? I'm not just meaning Ozil, but in all cases?
As I said after the first leg. We were always going to win 2-0 and be "proud of the performance" as we do every season when it's too late. Should have put a lot of money on it. We always knew the 3rd goal in the 1st leg was going to screw us. When we got the goal it was more than we deserved from that game, we should have played safe ad held onto the lifeline we'd just got. 1-2 was doable, and so it proved. Instead we went gung ho and gifted them another.
Anyway onto the cup now.
good to see berbatov playing well for monaco whilst big $$$ falcao plays for united u21s for probably 3x the wages.

Apparently this carry-on is very common, but usually they wait until they are out of view of the cameras...
One thing should be mentioned at the moment guys... how good has Ozil been since coming back from his injury?
I mean, he was basically written off despite a lot of good performances in his first 1.5 seasons with us. It was madness. Now he's showing what he's made of I don't feel he's getting the deserved praise. He has been key to a lot of our recent wins.
I liked this piece from F365's "Mediawatch" column, pretty much sums up the stick Ozil gets;
Like Day Follows Night
Mesut Ozil played very well for Arsenal last night. We know this partly because he created more chances than any other player on the pitch, had a wonderful free-kick tipped over the bar and generally played at a higher level than Alexis Sanchez. We also know it because The Sun, Daily Mail and Daily Mirror all gave him the joint second highest mark of any player on the pitch.
Not enough to stop all the tedious bashing, however. Ozil's the easiest of easy targets, you see. An easy clicker. A post-match open goal. Sanchez, for his part, is not.
We're growing pretty f**king weary of this campaign now (and we do genuinely see it as a campaign). Here are the first two paragraphs of Mark Irwin's 'big-match verdict' in The Sun, produced in full:
'When Arsene Wenger promised his players would give "absolutely everything" to keep their Champions League dream alive, he must have forgotten to tell Mesut Ozil.
'Because if this was Arsenal's record signing playing flat out, well let's just hope that Wenger has kept the receipt.'
Oh do stop being so bloody stu... Oh, okay. Carry on.
'He was so anonymous when Arsenal went out to Bayern Munich last year that he was hauled off at half-time in the Allianz Arena. Wenger later claimed the club's most expensive player had suffered a hamstring injury, but not many people were buying that one.'
Well, most people were Mark, given that Ozil then missed the next seven Arsenal matches with that hamstring injury.
Absolutely pathetic.
From the glimpses I saw Ozil looked sharp on the ball & strong, like he was twisting in & out of challenges with strength like Cazorla does centrally. I think Ozil's rise to form is also linked to Cazorla's form, he's got someone else inspiring him & pushing him to be better in that role.

The grief that Ozil gets is amazing - genuinely staggers me at times.
All I do is make the stuff I would've liked
Reference things I wanna watch, reference girls I wanna bite
Now I'm firefly like a burning kite
And yousa fake fuck like a fleshlight
It's gone a bit over the top, but I think people just expected more for the price tag. He's been good since coming back from the latest injury and this is his best spell for us so far. But he has been a bit of a passenger a lot of the time and while he's been mostly decent, that's not been good enough for 43 million. He should be dragging us over the line and winning games, much like Sanchez was doing this season before he was burnt out. The other day probably was his best game for us, even in the last few minutes it was him sprinting back to our penalty area to win the ball back. He needs to keep up this level.
English media have a hard-on for criticising him for whatever reason; I guess because they can't roll out the 'Theo doesn't have a footballing brain' line anymore while he isn't playing.
Think he was our best v Monaco quite easily and has been our best consistently next to Cazorla since coming back.

Alex Manninger. 6 clean sheets in a row in the double winning season of 98.
Three for me, and two for them.
3 points in the NE, got to take that
Rooting for Liverpool to do a number on the Diving Spend-Thrifts
Best possible result for English Football is for them to miss out on Champions League again
E's Flat Ah's Flat Too
I think I'd rather a draw between ManUre and the scousers. Have them both drop points.
Finally had time to watch the game, Wenger's comment about the boys running out of legs was so accurate. We threw everything at that Monaco game, and it told in the last 45 of this one, so spent.

Loving Ty in your avatar btw. Gooner legend.

Some great form in the League over the last few weeks, spearheaded by Coquelin and Ozil for me. I still think we finish third but at least now we can put a bit more focus on the Cup given we are safe in the top 4.
Just read a small article mentioning a whisper of the Ajax trio of De Boer, Bergkamp and Overmars to the Arsenal this off-season with Wenger stepping down. If that's the case, I for one would be hugely excited and would want Wenger to finish on a bit of success with the FA Cup.
Ty is most definitely a legend, a legend at the merchandise store.

I think it was Buffy who made a comment on here about PoL and I being this forum's version of Ty and Claude... I'd never heard of them so googled it and couldn't stop laughing, so hilarious, and absolutely spot on with the analogy of myself and PoL.
Took me a while to find a pic of him drinking from the bottle but it was so worth it.
The FA Cup "medal" that Ty was wearing around his neck for awhile loool.
