What a cock.

Fined $500 for referee abuse last week.  One disgraceful tackle, one questionable one and then abuses the ref again.  Shame Williams will be too spineless to get him banned for weeks.

Ponting back in for the game tomorrow.

Aussie selectors panicking big time.

Tait out of the Aussie squad due to injury, some Queensland guy's been brought in.

If we win 5-0 i am seriously creating a makeshift Vettori and Moles shrine in my bedroom closet.

Three for me, and two for them.

Hopefully this guy is as good as Tait. He is easy pickings.

Well, we made a decent fist of it. Still 2-1 up. Still believe we will win the series.

Nice score from Elliot. Taylor out of position at 3...makeshift might have been better, Mills or Southee would have been interesting...though Elliot is obviously the man in form.

hope we put it away with the next one. Not having McCullum fit is a bit of a bummer, they still fear him and with him out it takes that away a bit.

The way im beginning to feel about Grant Elliot reminds me of the way I felt about Kyle Mills 3 or 4 years ago. Kept thinking he was average but he kept performing. Elliot can be as average as he likes but if he keeps scoring hundreds ill take it.
Good to see both Franklin and Piggy getting runs yesterday aswell

Brilliant knock from Elliot really kept us competitive when really we were steamrolled. For a wee while when Elliot and McCallum were together there was even a glimmer of a miracle unfolding and didn't the mood of the Aussies change as they thought the same.

Still, Vettori got it wrong with the decision to bat first and seems to me this was purely on the basis of hoping the Aussie batting would remain as inept as it had been in the first two games. A gamble which did not pay off and should have backed his team to post a score and bowl second when conditions better for our attack and chasing at SCG always a tougher ask.

You don't necessarily need to be a massive hitted though, score a run a ball and turns 1s into 2s you will always score at a good clip. His 115 was off 125ish last night wasn't it? Thats a good rate when he was our anchor effectively

Whats EGs thoughts on Elliott after his last two games now?

With a full fit side my ideal team would be:
McCullem
Ryder
Guptill
Taylar
Elliot
Broom
Oram
Mills
Vettori
Southee/Patel
O'Brien

Tbh I forgot him but he is past his best IMO. It would be him vs Broom although I wouldn't mind seeing Styris in form at 5 and Elliot at 6. Also I think McCullem should go back to 7 with Oram at 6 Mills at 7 just hasen't worked.
