ruthless!

Depends how bad the game was really. If it was shockingly bad, every major and minor decision wrong etc then you'd expect to get dropped. But not really for a "pretty poor game" when you were on the verge of going up a grade.

Ok for the sake of clarification.

My decisions weren't the difference between a side winning and losing, there were no howlers or anything. Just in aspects like man management and positioning/fitness, I wasn't at the level required to be considered for Prem football.

The Olympic Club involved in an apparent shark storm surrounding referees. Now there is a surprise.

Maybe prior to any review of referee's  you should have a look at the culture within your club that allows these issues to crop up year after year.

Maybe you can come and introduce yourself and give us some tips on how we turn the culture around. I am always up for discussions about the club and what we can be doing better.... It's something that I am really passionate about

I have looked on the Olympic AFC website and you do not appear to have a code of conduct displayed. I would suggest that if you do not have one introduce a code of conduct. The code should specifically mention conduct towards referees

Next step is to appoint an independant disciplinary committtee consisting of people of high integrity and enforce it with firm penalties.

There is not one other club that does this. Although no harm in being the first I guess.

Hokowhitu fc has a code of conduct up in palmy it's on their website, they also had (I haven't been at the club for a couple of years so could have changed) a committee that discussed any issues and acted including the club president vp senior and junior coordinator treasurer and player rep.
This was used in my last year to remove the senior coordinator from their role due to breaches of the code.

I think whilst it's true that there are ambitious refs who wish to officiate in higher leagues and more attractive fixtures, there are many refs out there for other reasons, such as a way of getting some exercise, socialising, being involved in the game they love or giving back to the game after a career playing. There are plenty of refs out there doing a U17 or College games on a Sat morning or a Cap 3 or below game on a Sat afternoon or a Womens 1 game or such on a Sunday, because that's what they enjoy doing, and have no great burning desire to go higher in the leagues.

When Hibs, went up, to win the Scottish Cup - I wisnae there - furfuxake!

Greeks 6-0 over Kapiti. Few familiar names on the scoresheet for those that follow CL.

No....... But your club was kind enough to list the scorers on their Facebook page. Result or team list doesn't bother me in the slightest and not suggesting any rules were broken either. Merely reporting the score as you quite rightly pointed out that CF had not yet done so.

There were some familiar scorer names - Bouzoukis and Morris . One way traffic .

Yes I must agree.. On way traffic. It looked like a training exercise by the end of the game. The Greeks were playing with KCU.

What a turn around for this club..I watched them last year on many occasions both CL and CP and they were crap.

They look really fit and motivated.. I even hear through the grape vine that they may roll out a number of 16 year old in the coming weeks.

No, at the moment they need 9 more points

Team Taranaki won the Central federation league today (with a 5-0 win over 2nd place Havelock North Wanderers) so they will be in the playoff with most probably Wharfies

Hutt Park is the only one that could be described as that.

It is mid having work on it. Thus the shambles. Deal with it. Obviously Karori did to score five goals.

It's been having work done since about 2003! It's the Joan Rivers of football grounds.

And that gag works on two levels! *drops mic*

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Could get interesting if Karori don't will the play off game with TT. It could mean 3 go down unless Karori seconds get up to come second and then the 3rd to bottom side will get at least get a playoff game with Lower Hutt. (Picking Upper Hutt will win the league, 1 win in 5 games required)

3 down makes the 14 points of mirimar so close to the 16 of tawa and varsity.

could mean a few tight last games for some still to play these three clubs.

but i do feel waterside will make the jump so only two down will be the call.

good sportsmanship and fair playing field is all we ask for

but all we get is talk and goal posts moving

Incorrect. But recheck the table and you might be closer this week.  What will wharfies be doing to face this rather unknown identity of tt??? How will they ensure they get the promo they so desperately want.

have heard from reasonable sauces that team naki are not up to much , have romped home

In a sharkhouse league. So don't think wharf will be too concerned about looking at team naki, if they keep playing how they have been they will steam roll them over two legs

Steam roll ? - be brave, put a score line on 'steam roll'???   Any side that doesnt pay interest in who they are playing in a play off game/series is getting it wrong.  Wharfies won't get it wrong. They will be paying interest without doubt (in fact I'm sure they have been).

do team naki even have eligibility to central league as per the regs?

They came pretty close against Wellington Utd last year and should have won at Petone Memorial in the second league so they won't be that bad.

It's an absolute mess. Do we know what the terms of TT's participation in Central Football's Federation league are?

On the basis of Para 1, it does kind of sort of look like they would qualify

Why could a club from the area not participate? If TT didn't exist...
