Every home game for the Karori boys I read on here that the pitch had ruined the game, or in this case forced the abandonment! How can the council and the club justify the added cost to our fees and the fact we were without a home ground for a season when the pitch clearly is not up to standard.

the prem and seconds games will be at Karori if the weather goes our way (by the way its 30 degrees here in Vienna). It was easier to do it that way that transfer from KP.

Prof - not sure what you are talking about. Subs are the same as last year - and council have nothing to do with subs. PM me - you are in danger of being forceably put on the committee

good round of matches this weekend, Naenae versus Olympic should be a cracker. Hoping to get revenge versus BNU but ui holidays are going to hamper us (as always)

absolutely brilliant win for us today came out firing and slotted away four goals in the first half hour, lack of finishing left it at that score line for the remainder of the game with some very very close chances going our way we could have easily had a few more, adam church made an appearance for olympic and didn't really do anything constructive our CB shut him out of the entire game and also managed to make him a very very angry man earning him a yellow and i think being  incredibly close to being a red, olympic had a bit of a brain explosion in the second half and ended up with 10 men on the park after a shocker studs up two feet off the ground tackle on our centre mid by olympics CB a really stupid tackle, olympic ended up with one red card and five yellows. we're very pleased with our result and the way we conducted ourselfs during the game, no cards coming our way.

looks like the rest of the round was a close affair apart from brooklyns blowout of uni but not surprised being uni holidays must be tough to retain players

Irrelevant MB.  Varisty were competitive, especially first half, but BNU bossed it in the second.  See you next week.

Brooklyn took us to the cleaners in the second half, were unlucky not to have more to be honest, they had a few clear headers put over the cross bar. Looks like we could be in the same situation as last year

Great result from the BNU boys against Vic Uni on Saturday.It was a Game for the Golden Oldies with the stars of the show being Sam Buckle, Chrissy Sperring and Jason Pine.

Goes to show that when your nearing 40 you can still keep up with the youngsters.

So Chris still playing. He must be about 50

We used to enjoy some quality banter when I reffed BNU

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

Its not often you line up 442 against 352 and still have more collective experience in the middle of the park

Stokes Valley        __    University           __    Delaney 1;
Petone               __    Wellington Untd      __    Petone 2 (12.30);
Waterside Karori     __    North Wellington     __    Adventure 1 (12.30);
Olympic              __    Wainuiomata          __    Wakefield 2 (12.30);
Brooklyn Northern    __    Naenae               __    Wakefield 2.

A humdinger of a Saturday afternoon at Wakefield Park No2. They should be charging for that kind of double header.

IN FACT, add to that a massive top of the table Cap Prem clash on Wakefield No1 and its going to be an ultimate club football bonanza:

Island Bay United    __    Wairarapa United     __    Wakefield 1;

I'm praying for a Masters cancellation so I can get down there, if Cap 1 gets canned as well I might go to the 'New Karori Park' aka Adventure Park, Whitby.

Cmon Greenie - I know Karori's a bit short of top club football at the moment, but dont unleash your frustration on a couple of Wellington football's elder statesmen.

Perhaps, one day - if they spent, say, 4 or 5 million dollars on it - Karori Park might too be developed into a football hub that can rival Wakefield or - for that matter - Adventure Park

They must have, because the total number of games played by all teams has to add up to an even number; and it doesn't according to this table.

SV have played 13 now I think.

next Sunday week..Waterside v Naenae at....Newtown #1. How many home grounds of other clubs must Warfies use while the aquadrome is out of action. Don't worry about net and flags Fev, I'll do that, I'll also sell some pies. Should be a good match on the Hallowed Turf

Monkeyboy, Scotty, make sure it's early.

Why would they drop you down a grade for a lost cause ?
