Sommet now has sound.

But have enjoyed the Yahoo 7 commentary.  Didn't realise Bridges was a Geordie (or near enough).

have to wonder wtf Liam Miller is doing in this side - he is woefully slow and has the worst touch, I'm surprised Ifill didn't start  given it appears to be a team made from a-league layers who played well 2 years ago.

I guess if you  looked  at the form of both from last year, Miller would bolt in.

If you are old and wise you were probably young and stupid

It really was.
At least you didn't have to contend with the nauseating local radio hosts doing the buildup at the ground. Chap trying to start United chants over the PA only to silence the entire crowd. Horrid.
Oh, and "mid-strength" beer only. FML.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

agree, I hate man u, but it was entertaining to see the vast casm between EPL players and a-league players, Zaha was a stand out but Wehlbeck and Lindman looked very sharp - man u could easily let Rooney go and not suffer.

We are in the middle of our off season and after maybe a weeks camp together, they are an established team in the final process of getting ready for the start of their season. Yeah, their players are of a much high level but gotta give the game some context.

TV Coverage on Sommet Sports was via Man Utd TV...

I think I spewed up in my mouth and swallowed it several times over!

What surprised me was how lose the MU defense was. A team of A-league ringins got at least 4 clean shots on goal. Berisha had heaps of time to turn for his goal and he should have done better for his other shot. Broisch was unmarked when he blasted over the bar and it was a brilliant save that kept out Boij???? Really surprised that a top EPL team could be so disorganised at the back...even though its not their first 11 CB's these guys wear the MU shirt.
