Buffon II
Auckland will still win the league.

Would take an epic implosion for them not too.

Goal stands. Roar pay the price for so many missed chances, including one about a minute before the equalizer!  1-1

4-1.  Must be nice for Kraev and Al-Taay to be in a winning team

Every time I watch WSW this season it reminds me of how big of a loss Kraev is

I know this isn't A-league but...

Preston Lions vs South Melbourne just concluded and that was a great watch. Absolutely packed, great atmosphere, and some ok football. Ended 2-0 to Preston which makes this their first win over South at home since 1986 so good for them. According to the commentators 9,036 people were at the grounds so this might genuinely be the biggest match of the round

I was watching this game too, it was an enjoyable watch. You could clearly see it meant a lot to both teams.

Enjoyed the audacity of the Preston player to go for the panenka!

And the A League would rather create soul less franchises in Australia that nobody has any passion for, instead of letting some of these established clubs in.

The issue is that the APL doesn't want another Western or another Macarthur, they want another Auckland. They want a club that comes in making waves immediately, getting massive crowds, getting great results, and bringing in new viewership.

And while these big NPL clubs can definitely compete fanbase wise with our smaller clubs, they just won't make the splash Auckland did. So basically until the APL lowers their standards and expectations these NPL/Championship clubs are unfortunately never getting in.

There may also be another reason thry dont allow some of the established clubs in. That is they dont want the issues that they had in the previous competition wrh clubs clashing along ethnic lines.
It wasnt much fun attending some of those games the levels of abuse and threatening behaviour was stupid at times.

Woof, what a way to score your first goal. Harry Crawford puts Adelaide up 1-0 just before half time.

Finished 3-0. Mariners suck as much as the Nix this season.

Not surprising that we have adopted their strategy of developing youth to sell and joining them on the roller coaster of that experience.

Holy shark! AFC concede first, never thought I would see that again this season.

Still a long way to go unfortunately.

Weird how he hasn’t picked Verstratae again. He’s easily been one of the best players in the league this season.

Three for me, and two for them.
