Yep, can’t believe it was he who ended up getting up the pitch and playing centre forward on the break.

Just a classy inspiration person who puts it all out there and never gives up.

Great signing for a new franchise as they try to install a culture.

He also won the header directly leading to his goal also.   Virtually an assist/goal combo.

Paulsen will surely be the AWs number 1 wc time.  I hope.

Depends on where he is loaned out too next season. Hibs has been rumoured but they have another young Keeper, so maybe not a lock in for the starting spot.

Also Dan Hall can play for NZ according to the commentators.   Eh??

Born in Fiji & adopted in Aussie. So unless something new has come out about his biological parents, I have no idea where this has come from.

Biological parent(s) moved to NZ from Fiji and now got a NZ passport?? Obviously a big Fijian diaspora in NZ. Is random news

I pray Aberdeen are after him. I really want to be able to support him again. Mitov is ok but suffers from a few lapses and our second choice isn't up to much.

Poor old Brisbane, after leading 1 nil at home and now losing 1-5 to Macarthur.  Hattrick from Jakolis

Brisbane have taken the NZ Knights record of 11 conservative home games without a win.
By losing to Macarthur  Brisbane have gone 12 home games without a win, surpassing the NZ Nights.

Massive game today for AFC if they are going to win the minor premiership.

Only two home games left, today and Perth.

Three tough and potentially away losses against Victory, Sydney and Western.

They will need a minimum of two wins in the next 5 to stay in the hunt. Three would guarantee it.

Today is crucial

I think if they win today the league is theirs.

Three for me, and two for them.

Roar are a weirdly unbalanced team. On paper an attack featuring Hallaron, O'Shea, Berenguer, Jelacic, Hore and more recently Abubakar is good enough to have them in or around the top 6. But the defence is a disaster. Not sure who is responsible for their recruitment but it's been a massive failure.

Crazy that Gillion has been completely sidelined. Not idea what's up with that, unless he's injured. Gillion would be the first on my team sheet if he were at the Phoenix.

Have they showed an offside angle for the disallowed goal? I swear he was on. He made his move after the ball was played, and he was behind the defender looking at the ball when it was played so there was no reason for him to be off.

1-1 at home as league leaders, and you go to a back 5?

Western United can cut the lead to 5 points tonight with a win. Currently only 5 behind on GD too, and that will go down if they do win. They play Auckland on the last day, and if they can cut the lead to 3 points by the final day, it could be in their hands. 4 rounds to go after this weekend.

Melbourne City also not out of it. Three horse race for the title given Auckland's rubbish form since the derby.

They should be out of sight by now but can't finish teams off.

Three for me, and two for them.

Game could have gone either way but AFC had 6 big chances verses 2 for Western Sydney. Expected goals was double as well.

Should have put that to bed.

So far so good for Western United, up 1-0 after half an hour. Would like to see 'em get a few more to eat into AFC's goal difference buffer.

Considering they were outplayed for large periods of this game AFC will probably be happy with a point. But they are now consistently dropping points. Those late goals that they have been getting are now no longer happening. Sakai and May both with big late chances. It will be a nervous run in to the seasons end
