players been underdone? isnt that his job to deal with?
Cuz of the distance, they always struggle to get ALM opposition in pre-season. Guess the new owners wouldn't stump up the cash to fly to Sydney or Melbourne to pick up a few games like us & AFC did.

ALM:
Fri 9:35pm SS7 - MAC v NEW
Sat 7:00pm SS Select - ADL v CCM
Sat 9:35pm SS Select - MCY v MVC
Sun 4pm SS1 - AKL v SYD
Sun 6pm SS7 - WUN v WSW

I assume AKL v SYD will be also on Sky Open but it doesn't have a program guide for Sunday online yet.

Newcastle played there twice a couple of weeks ago.

Totally forgot about that. He did say the import CB and Mileusnic hadn't played any pre-season games.

Couple of very decent finishes within three minutes from Eli Adams to give the Jets the lead against MAC. Plenty of action in the 2nd half so far.

Is that what the beef at FT was about? Only saw a clip with no caption 🤷‍♂️

It made me think that we genuinely should have had a penalty against Western Sydney for what looked to me like a foul on Kosta by their keeper.

Very scrappy goal for Adelaide, they won't care though I'm sure.

Kaltak was unlucky that his attempted clearance hit straight into another of his own players instead of geting it out of the box

Strange seeing Pierias playing as an FB in a back four for the Reds. Not convinced on that one yet but time will tell.

Even allowing for travel fatigue CCM look a pale shadow of their championship winning sides. They'll be back in the pack this season surely.

Nisbet and Ballard were always going to be hard to replace in their engine room. 1-0

Despite all their dominance, Adelaide created very few half chances. CCM can get back in this with a few changes at HT. 1-0

CCM swapping to a back three at HT. This Ngor kid has big wraps, let's see if he can bring the Coasties back into this, 1-0

Ends 1-1.

Not buying the Ngor hype & Feijao gives me Kenny Cunningham vibes.

It was a much better 2nd half from the Mariners, but they also almost conceded another scrappy goal that I was very surprised didn't end up going in

Douglas Costa not involved in the squad at all today for Sydney FC I see - that'll be a boost for Auckland. Tight hamstring is the reason given

And no Neydar Moreno in the squad still for AFC
