Have I walked into a AFC fan page, what the hell is all this support for them?? FFS now they're 10 points clear of us.
We haven't got a hope of catching them anyway. On the other hand I have a possibly unrealistic hope that we can reel in Roar over the second half of the season, so I'm happy to see them keep on losing.

I think the Nix catching the Roar is realistic. Lost their boom young defender to the MLS, now lost 3 on the bounce without scoring.

Injuries. Not a lot of depth. I think they had three 16-17 yr olds tonight in their squad.
You can see why they are chasing Daggers.

Dunno like that second strike against the women last game, you got to admire some great football moments.

Wouldn’t have minded if Salas had beaten Woud with that hit either!

And yeh- I’m a fan of Rogerson. Ex- Nix, but couldn’t force a position here at that time. Has travelled to so many places and come back a proper professional imo. Not flashy, but clearly thinks about what he’s doing.

While Cosgrove gets a lot of shark on here, he was hired to score goals and Auckland look better with him on the field.

Joint top scorer and coupled with assists I think has had most goal involvements in the league.

Also useful in defence at set pieces with his aerial presence.

Think he is one of those guys when he is playing against you, you hate everything about him. But if they happen to be doing those things FOR your team you accept them and in some cases love that other fans hate him.

He was not contracted by AFC to be liked  - he was contracted to win games for AFC.  He had a slow start to the season and now seems to have found his feet.  Somewhat wasteful, but has good poacher's instinct.

Kosta puts WSW ahead of Victory with a pen. Could help see us into the six tomorrow, if the Jets dont win this weekend and we do

Not a good weekend for home teams so far...

3 games, 3 losses, 0 goals scored, 6 conceded.

Cosgrove is playing for the team that is top of the league and control and dominate most games. Plus he is surrounded by some of the most creative players in the league in May, Randall, Brook etc. Yet he constantly manages to butcher a huge number of opportunities. If Eze was playing for AFC he would be well into double figures for goals.
Cosgrove is a donkey.

Glory with a big 3-0 win over CCM. Lawrence is looking an absolute gun signing.

Pennington has now scored 3 goals in 10 games this season, after only scoring 3 goals in his previous 82 games.

It could be nothing more than a different approach taken by Adam Griffiths to previous Glory coaches. Perth has been playing above my expectations since they dumped David Zdrilic and gave Griffiths the job full time.

I'm an Eze fan but I think you are over rating him here. He has missed some great chances for us

Do we have to be mean to Donkeys?  They are hard working, innocent, cute and cuddly.

Also Newcastle is leading 1 nil against City.

You forgot the important bit, Lancaster scored it!

Hoyle really has done a great job with the Jets Ladies.

Jets were paying $8.50 to win this at the NZ TAB. Its gonna be a massive upset if they hold onto it.

We are now the only team to have never beaten City.

While that is bad, at least it's only 5 years for us, was it 10 years for the Jets?

You are looking at 9 names.
Open the tweet and you'll see Brook and Cosgrove as well. Don't know why embedded tweets get partially cut off

Randall’s looking good. I hope there is room on the plane for him to the World Cup.

Seems a nice humble shy young chap as well.

Randall is ten times the player he was last season.

Brook class as always.

Good chance for Elliott to shine again with Sakai picking up another knock.

Three for me, and two for them.

Randalls pass for that goal was absolute class. Dull game overall. AFC just being AFC....
VAR didnt think that someone stomping on Cosgroves arm warranted calling the ref????? Thats a straight red.

I was waiting for VAR to give the call to be honest. Just typical inconsistent calls.

Goal 2/3 Kiwi. Rogerson’s first pass and then Randall doesn’t die with it.

And kudos for Cosgrove for not losing his rag. That was…a red every day of the week, including Sunday and a long break too.
