What difference does it possibly make? Jesus... give the mods a break. They do what they do not for the power trip but to make sure this place functions reasonably well for the benefit of all. They don't do things like that just to get under your skin. If you were happy to remove it yourself, then what's the big deal. It's been done for you... so that's less for you to do. Or do you just feel the need to whinge?

well its just a matter of the fact no one else had voiced a concern about it, it came across as a bit abrupt, it just wouldve been nice to have been asked/warned. suppose that is a warning not to upload anything too big from now on though lol

Would help if there was a PM function on the forum, then yeah mods could message people asking for things. (Why is there no PM again?). 

But in a way I agree, some mods are overly pedantic about stupid things and get way too easily upset. I posted a link to an article a couple of weeks ago, which had already been posted on a previous page. Instead of letting me know so that I could edit it out of my post (lol as if its an issue anyway - just ignore it), i was met with a pretty rude remark from a mod instead, then when i replied "call the internet police" i was met with a ban, with the reason "being a twat". And even after all that the post still remains.

I can only think of 2 mods (one who rarely posts these days) who do an above and beyond job on this site. The others are exceedingly average or just plain poor. Probably why this forum is incredibly slow to pick up new members and have them hang around as regulars. This site tends to be more like an old boys club than anything else. Im not going to name names, il just get banned again. But whatever, im posting a lot less these days anyway and mainly just reading up on news/goss.

I don't really care about people on my side or not, i don't personally know any of you so it doesn't matter. Just over all the angst, and yeah ive been guilty of it in the past, but just over it. There's way too much bickering among people on here (Cap1 thread especially). Mods can delete or move this discussion if they want, granted its now off topic.

lol it was pretty big, but i was more annoyed with the second one getting deleted because it didnt seem too large to annoy people. To be honest im more concerned about the top twins now than if my signatures were too obnoxiously big or not.

so, being from outside wellington, which uncontracted player playing tonight have been the most impressive in pre season? (im to lazy to go back through previous threads to look.)

hey hey hey...its been a long day.

I once had a message deleted because I used a picture to describe Fred DeJong. Despite its accuracy,  the mod at the time deleted it and rightly so. The mod was correct. It was an inappropriate picture for this site. Happy to admit I was wrong posting it on here. These things happen.

If there was ever more of a reason needed to not want WSW to win anything, then this is it.

Probably none since the demise of the Preseason Cup, other than the Boca game.

Boca and Beckham and that's it, except that old preseason cup. I wonder how much they will charge for tickets and do Season Tickets cover it? Personally, I'd recommend a fee of $5 entry for everyone if paid in advance or $10 at the gate and see if that can encourage a decent crowd with a lot of new attendees or walk ups.

I do think its sensible to take these games away. But now that theyre already taking 3 regular season games away every year, I'd like to see more preseason games in Wellington again. 

They should try and be as deceitful as possible in the marketing of this as to avoid the 'pre season friendly' tag. Let all the casuals think its an actual game with ticket prices half of season prices, might get a few more along ;)

Maybe call it a test match instead of a friendly? That'd pack the stadium out.
