The head coach needs what - a good knowledge of football in the league he is involved - respect of the entire squad and management - a good support team behind him -  fantastic man management skills.  Does he have to run around the park to prove this no.

They said, at the start of the week, they had decided on their first choice and were negotiating terms. I am pretty sure the people above are joking but an announcement is expected anytime unless some problem has arisen, so it is possible that someone knows. The herald thought Merrick was one of the preferred two or three choices and that Steve Coppell and Glenn Roeader were no longer in the running for whatever reason.

I don't know who it is but I spoke to someone who saw him with the Nix big wigs. The person I spoke to couldn't ID him but told me it was not E.M. That's about all I've got
