I'm a bit underwhelmed. Not terribly angsty, it could definitely have been worse, but it's not blowing my socks off.
Will give him the benefit of the doubt now though, and hope he gets stuck in straight away making signings/re-signings etc. I can't wait for a proper off-season with a coach 100% devoted to the Nix.

I must say this whole process has been pretty good. They seem to have been thorough and done a lot of due diligence. They've kept it as good a secret as could reasonably be expected short of Merrick having plastic surgery and the livestreamed announcement plus the fan forum tonight are nice touches.

Welnix have given up. This is the triumph of saving bucks over actually wanting to win the league.
Of course I'm not going to stop following but this is deeply, deeply disappointing. Once again the Nix are going to be "also rans" struggling to catch up with the Aussie clubs, and voices will be raised as to "why are we sheltering these useless Kiwis?"
Of course, JV, I could be wrong. I've said my piece and I hope to be proved wrong.
