For some reason they aren’t selling them on ticketek, but flicket for this game. Here is the link
Defenitely not selling them on ticketek will mean a lot less fans through the gates , I don’t think the crowd will be more than 10k unfortunately..

I want to get 16 adult tickets (possibly more) for the Nov 25th game? I emailed WPX directly to chase up because tickets aren't available yet on Ticketek for the game??

I also wanted to know if there was a discount code for large groups or similar.

No reply.

As part of our membership packages, we are meant to be able to buy discounted additional tickets. Anyone know the code? I found the one for the Mt Smart games but that doesn't work for the Wellington matches.

[Edit: I didn't get it cuz I'm only a Silver member. Only Gold/Fever/Foundation/Lounge members get that benefit.]

That doesn't make any sense why Silver is excluded

Hey guys, wasn't really sure where to ask this question - given we are now likely to be top 2, I was wondering where do you guys think the best seating is at the cake tin? Is it best to be up high or low? At the half way mark or on the corner flag?

Just thinking about buying tickets for the fam at finals time - cheers

Assuming you are with the family and not in the fever zone, the best spot for atmosphere and overall best viewing in my opinion is aisles 22-24. I would sit a bit higher up, on the lower rows of the higher tier (I’ve sort of highlighted in black where I’m talking about. It certainly is a much more comfortable viewing experience and being closer to the YF you will really feel at the centre of the action.

I repeat, aisles 22/23/24 are the golden seats for the overall experience.

Thanks mate. Do you reckon you get a better view from the more central aisles - say 26/27? I appreciate the comment about the atmosphere - will probably choose those aisles you suggested to be close to the fever :) cheers

Yeah the views are good there but come at a premium. My rationale is either as close to fever zone or family zone, and up high for viewing and weather protection.

Well yes, the middle aisles do have a better view, but you won’t really notice that on game day, the other aisles still have a great view.
Plus you will save at least $50, it is defenitely worth it
At the risk of repeating myself you will feel more centred to the action and will have a great view of the field, great atmosphere at a lower price.
You can still pick Aisle 24/25 which is relatively central to the field.

Aisle 23 season pass holder here.  Because I have kids I need to be able to sit and it's perfect.  View is amazing, and the YF noise is right there.

Any word on tickets for the semi finals? I thought they were going to be out fairly soon...

I have a feeling they are waiting for after this game. Might slightly hinder sales for this game if they put semi finals tickets on at the same time.. with the current cost of living

Aisle 23 is the best to get the noise from the fever but the option of sitting when you want to, any seats in the stadium is good viewing.

Thanks for your input :) I think I'll be sitting in Aisle 23 based on that!

Stop spreading the word lol Aisle 23 has been my preference for a good few years after moving around a bit. Noise is great!

Some good news to report, upon rechecking Metlinks website, trains will be running for All lines on the 18th and 19th of May.

I imagine casual fans will wait to see results of the first leg before buying for the home leg, like it was for NZv Bahrain. But I'll get mine as soon as they are available.

Found this on the A-Leagues website tonight:

Saturday 18 May: Wellington Phoenix vs Highest / Lowest Placed Elimination Final Winner, Sky Stadium, 4:30pm (AEST) / 6:30pm (NZST)

Probably means nothing to most but just in case it may stuff anyone's travel plans etc. - The league is saying the game will be at 6:30pm rather than the 6pm that David Dome confirmed on twitter

Does anyone know if the ticket registered club kid footballers got which got them in free will work for the finals series? I am assuming not?

Ticketek have got back to me, confirming that the ticket that registered junior football players got this season will NOT get them into any finals series matches.

That makes sense given the Nix will have made that agreement with local clubs for the regular season only, plus the APL run the finals series not the Nix.

Seems I am the first with angst. I bought 12 tickets when first on sale. Only eight arrived in inbox on Friday. Filled out online form to query where the other four tickets were. Just sat on hold for forty minutes with no luck.

Hopefully this gets sorted before Friday as I need time to hand them out

Were four of them member tickets and eight purchased additionally?
Have you also triple checked that some of the tickets aren’t attached with each other?

All good suggestions. Six were members and six additional. One email had two tickets together but none on the others do. I at least triple checked :)

Final update. Once I spoke to a person issue was very quickly sorted. Whoop whoop

For those that don't already know, family tickets are the same price as 2 adults. So make sure you round up random children and bring them along to the game, no worries if they are related to you or not.

Pro tip: They can't say no to the game if they're too young to speak.

A suspicious amount of sales in the away zone all of a sudden. Could be an epic fail brewing if it’s locals.

Let the away fans have their space to do their thing like we had in Melbourne

Fair enough but to be fair they have been allocated way too many seats. Melbourne couldn’t sell out their stadium and had plenty of free seats in excess of 13/14k.
They should move all the away fans down to the uncovered and put another home section at the top covered section..

I am sure the APL doesn't care who is there as long as every seat possible is sold

Season tickets last year - (Women + Men) - Yellow Fever, 2 Adults, 1 High School Student - $710.

24/25 - $1050  (not inc the 10% early discount) - WOmen + Men, 2 Adults, 1 High School, YF.......

Essentially, Season tickets no longer include access to the A-League Womens ($99 per adult - $69 per high school student)

I guess it's unclear if there will be any double headers or not. The add on for womens says for matches at Porirua Park.
