It's meant to be a sunny day on Sunday, so hopefully that will help. Just gotta find somewhere cheaper to park the car. Thorndon Quay is out, might accidently park in a Bike Lane.
I’m gutted that silver season ticket holders don’t get a discount for parking now. Travel from feilding every game and parking at the stadium is a lot easier for me
Yeah sadly the club has not been clear in communicating this to fans.Dont get why they gave it to those who buy membership when some of the marketing for that says it for those who cant get to games. Hopefully they revisit that dosnt help the stadium Trust rips of Phoenix fans not sure why we cant get the same deal as NPC fans.

Has anyone else been unable to buy the parking?  I have the member's code and Ticketek gives me the discounted price but wont make the credit card transaction, tried two different cards and two different browsers but no success.

Have bought the kick off bundle, but says I need to check closer to the event for the ticket? I’d assume 24 hours was close enough?

The Stadium are taking the piss $37 for parking. Feel sorry for those that just rock up.

It's gone up this season?!!
Double what they charge for the rugby!
$20 more than what they charge for parking all day during the week.

I seem to have been missed off that email for some reason, checked my junk folder too and nothing there.

I've emailed the club so hopefully can get it sorted easily enough

I got the email, but no programme.
So is this something else that's been removed from season ticket holders?

Yep looks like that has also been added to club membership. Not convinced the club have done this right they are wanting people to become club members which is understandable as that money all goes to them. So they have offered enticements over season passes. However when one of the selling points for club membership is its a way to take part if you cant attend games. Why then offer discounted parking and match day programmes. Hopefully the club can be convinced to reconsider this decision.

Check your emails.  I'm silver and I got sent the link.

It seems like you can't do it on the day though as I tried the link and it didn't work on the day.

Wouldnt shout that to loud as its no longer a part of silver membership. Seems you may have got lucky

Bought the kick off bundle. Waited too long to change my seats for the next two home games apparently, ticketek now say it’s impossible as I’ve already used the first one. I really don’t see how that’s valid.

Has anyone actually received their membership pack that we were supposed to get before the first game?

Are the bundle seats the same for all three games or are they automatically allocated depending on what is left for the tier you purchased?

They didn’t say, but im nowhere near my original seat. Multiple aisles away from my first selection. Seems bonkers. I don’t recall having that issue when they’ve done that before, but it’s been a while since I’ve bought one of the bundles.

not yet, got an email saying a tracking number has been assigned but that was on the 18th. No updates since, called NZ Post and they said it means the package isnt in their network ie a courier hasnt collected it from the sender. Who knows if it will arrive before the derby given public holiday on Monday.

Yeah I don't know if we are the only club. But it doesn't matter either way. The current owners have been around for over a decade and should by now know how this works and have a plan in place. Renewing memberships began in August, a full two months before the season started. Surely they know what the pack is going to include, there is no new planning required for it. They have a finite time for packs to be purchased and delivered before season starts, even with production issues.

The thing is, neither club are asking for 100k membership cards to be made so why does it take so long for the Ticketing agency so frigging long??

I dont think its the ticketing agency, its the suppliers of the items for the packs, - scarf production this time (i think). But for mine, given this isnt anyone's first rodeo, suppliers of items should be well ant ruely prepared and understand whats required, templates for designs all good to go well in advance. It cannot be that hard to get it all co-ordinated given the multiple years everyone has had to get it right.

Welnix have been running the ship since 2011 so 13 years for them, I cant recall how things ran when Terry was at the helm.

Pretty much the same right from the start packs have hardly ever been on time. Can only recall a couple of occasions where we got them on time. There was a time when you got your membership cards on time only for the bloody things not to work.
I just dont get how something can be messed up so often over a period of time.

It was pretty much the same during Terry's tenure. Ticketec haven't improved at all in regards to the actual season tickets. The membership packs were a bit hit and miss.

Tickitek no longer do the ticketing, now Flicket, I think they do both the rugby and Nix, so assume all stadium events. But you're right, no improvement from the last.

Finally an update! Email received this evening.
Kia ora,

We apologise for the ongoing delays with your membership packs.

We have been advised this evening that the packs have been in NZ since Tuesday but not yet scanned into the NZ Post system. We expect deliveries to begin from Monday.

In the meantime, you will have been sent your digital ticket to access tomorrow's game. If you have misplaced this, you can redownload your QR code from the members' portal.

Flicket will also be on site tomorrow at Box Office 2 to assist with printing QR codes.
We encourage you to bring scarves from previous seasons if you have any, to show your support for the 'Nix and show Auckland our history.

If you are still having any issues please let us know by email, otherwise we look forward to seeing you in yellow at tomorrow's derby.

Kind regards,

Steph

Given the Wellington FOMO effect, general fan obsessions with PAX and the seemingly exponential growth pattern of nix ticket sales (I.e. the more tickets sold, the bigger the increase in ticket sales)..

I reckon the winning formula to increase crowds is to completely gamify ticket sales to nix games…
Starting of with sharing ticket sales updates and as milestones are hit the offers and benefits for the whole crowd increase
I.e
5k ticket sales - 25% off food, $5k halftime kick for cash
7.5k ticket sales - 2 for 1 fries and 100 nix shirts handed out
10k ticket sales - 50% off beer (okay dreaming with that), $10k halftime kick for cash
12.5k ticket sales - free Big Macs for every goal scored and 50 fans on the field to watch the warm ups and walk outs

Etc etc etc obviously the better perceived value of the rewards the more effective it would be

Lots they could do with sponsors, and further expand gamification into other areas like those referring others to buy tickets or buying the most tickets, or having a streak of games attended etc

Food for thought! Would also add to the game day experience so win-win
