Dunno if Rob is up for giving away $5mil every time we crack a 5k attendance
Wonder if the membership packs are organised by the league because from that email it seems like the Phoenix outsource it.
Given the Wellington FOMO effect, general fan obsessions with PAX and the seemingly exponential growth pattern of nix ticket sales (I.e. the more tickets sold, the bigger the increase in ticket sales)..
I reckon the winning formula to increase crowds is to completely gamify ticket sales to nix games…
Starting of with sharing ticket sales updates and as milestones are hit the offers and benefits for the whole crowd increase
I.e
5k ticket sales - 25% off food, $5k halftime kick for cash
7.5k ticket sales - 2 for 1 fries and 100 nix shirts handed out
10k ticket sales - 50% off beer (okay dreaming with that), $10k halftime kick for cash
12.5k ticket sales - free Big Macs for every goal scored and 50 fans on the field to watch the warm ups and walk outs
Etc etc etc obviously the better perceived value of the rewards the more effective it would be
Lots they could do with sponsors, and further expand gamification into other areas like those referring others to buy tickets or buying the most tickets, or having a streak of games attended etc
Food for thought! Would also add to the game day experience so win-win

Definately food for thought, except the nix do not have control over the food prices, they'll be set by the supplier to nthe stadium. Nix would have to pay the suppliers to provide the discount and would make no money from it except from maybe a few extra game day tickets.
You might get maccas on board as a sponsor to providfe the free burgers.
And the half time show, prizes etc are all sponsor funded not nix.

It'll be outsourced to Flicket (the new Tickitek).

Well, I'm never one to shy away from a regular grizzle, and I know this ones is not down to the Phoenix, but $13.50 to literally hand over one small can of beer is a freaking extortion. You cant blame staff costs for that as they are trivial by comparison, and they dont supply glasses or have to do any washing up!
Frankly, stadiums deserve to die when they treat customers like that.
The thing is, neither club are asking for 100k membership cards to be made so why does it take so long for the Ticketing agency so frigging long??
I dont think its the ticketing agency, its the suppliers of the items for the packs, - scarf production this time (i think). But for mine, given this isnt anyone's first rodeo, suppliers of items should be well ant ruely prepared and understand whats required, templates for designs all good to go well in advance. It cannot be that hard to get it all co-ordinated given the multiple years everyone has had to get it right.
A few weeks ago they said they had scarf supply issues, but were sending the packs out without the scarfs. That clearly never happened, so presumably something else came up.
To be honest, now that we receive digital tickets its not really much of a concern of mine. I have about 20 unopened scarves from previous years as it is!

They have always hired an outside company to do the membership packs.

The Huawei & the club offered to give away 10k for a 10k crowd back in 2014.
https://wellingtonphoenix.com/news/huawei-give-phoenix-fans-10k-10k/
They ended up giving it away despite only 9.7k turning up to see David Williams score a hatty as Heart put 5 past us. Next game, back down to our rusted on 6-7k fan base.
Then there was the 'Cash at the Gate' back in 2018
https://wellingtonphoenix.com/news/wellington-phoenix-jackpot-cash-gate/
10k for a 10k crowd, going up by how many goals scored at the Stadium until we got the 10k.
Ended up taking until January for it to be won (the 7th Home game), with $30k being given away
https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10157320015859239&id=146407914238&set=a.10152307777164239
Crowds with the chance to win that cash
Gm 1 - 9,174
Gm 2 - 5,338
Gm 3 - 4,831
Gm 4 - 4,829
Gm 5 - 6,970
Gm 6 - 6,841
Gm 7 - 10,186
Think we had a bad run with weather that season but just throwing out cash prizes to get bigger crowds has been tried & it doesn't seem to work.

Prices definitely went up for the last game, $7 for a 420ml coke!! It's usually $5ish and that's ridiculously high, I'll be interested to see what the price of things are on the 14th (non derby game).
Queenslander 3x a year.
Coke's were $7 at the WUN game.
i must have been drinking beers at that game, didnt notice

Oops forgot about the sticker!
I also received that email about the scarf and since a few of you did get the scarf today I too am wondering if that means not all members will get one. I brought memberships for both teams.
What about Foundation members, did you get anything special???

Ya membership pack arrived and love the scarf. Has anyone who also took up womens membership received that pack.
GET YOUR SHIRTS OFF FOR THE BOYS
I got pack × 2 today. No scarf, but bag, notepad and bumper sticker.
Curiously, the bumper sticker says "Part of the Club" as a Mens season pass holder, but clearly not a bigger part enough to get discounted parking or an emailed club programme. They have really blurred the lines this year, am I a Club Member or not??
As a women's member as well, should i expect another pack?

The women's pack is the same thing.
If you got the add on, you do t get a pack. I bought mine separate so I could have the membership card and got them in the same package.
So double the bags and double the note pads. Not gonna lie, pretty happy with that.

Feel like you're nit picking there. You are part of the Club, but you don't have a "Club Membership" unless you bought one.

ha ha, clear as mud
I was looking through the previous years packs compared to this one and one thing I noticed is that we didn't get a fridge magnet. But maybe that stopped a few years ago.
Also I too got my mens and womens season tickets in one hit so only got one pack and no scarf. I'm actually pretty disappointed.
